For owners with high-mileage shocks already showing wear, this is a good opportunity to assess shock condition and replace if needed — but it is not required by the kit.
Q: What's the difference between a leveling kit and a lift kit?
The F45 leveling kit raises the front by 2 inches only — the rear stays at factory height, resulting in a level stance. A full lift kit raises both the front and rear, typically 4–6 inches or more, and requires crossmembers, knuckles, and new shocks at a significantly higher price point.
