At Obsidian Forged Auto Supply, we believe technical parts should arrive with zero friction. From 600lb+ suspension pallets to specialized lighting kits, we provide full transparency from our Texas headquarters to your door.

1. High-Speed Order Processing

Operating as a premium distributor with a 2,500+ SKU catalog means we move at the pace of your build.

Same-Day Processing: Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST typically process the same business day.
The "Direct-to-Door" Advantage: By shipping directly from our network of national manufacturer warehouses (including BDS, FOX, and JKS), we bypass traditional retail delays.
Notification: You will be notified immediately via email or SMS regarding any backorders or manufacturer-specific lead times.

2. Carrier Network & "Obsidian Proof" Verification

We utilize a tiered carrier network to ensure your components are handled by specialists:

Small & Medium Components (UPS, FedEx, USPS): We utilize UPS and FedEx for the majority of our ground shipments to provide GPS-verified delivery. We highly recommend customers sign up for the free UPS My Choice® service for granular control over their home delivery.
Heavy-Duty & Master Lift Kits (Specialized LTL Freight): For shipments exceeding 150 lbs, we utilize specialized LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) carriers experienced in handling palletized automotive gear.
Visual Verification: For all LTL Freight orders, high-resolution photos of your palletized shipment are taken as the order is loaded at the warehouse. These "Obsidian Proof" images verify the condition of your parts as they left our facility and are available to assist in any carrier-related claims.

3. Transparent Shipping Rates

Our rates are fixed and transparent to eliminate checkout surprises:

4. Freight (LTL) Delivery Requirements

Scheduled Appointments: The freight company will contact you to schedule a delivery date. Someone 18+ years of age must be present to sign for and inspect the shipment.
Delivery Access: Please ensure your location is accessible to a full-sized freight truck.
Lift-Gate Service: Standard residential freight deliveries include lift-gate service to move the pallet from the truck to the ground.

5. Damaged Shipments & Inspection Protocols

CRITICAL: To align with manufacturer insurance requirements, we enforce a strict 48-hour inspection window.

Small Packages: Inspect all items immediately. Damage must be reported to Support@obsidianforgedautosupply.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and product.
LTL Freight (The "BOL" Rule): Before the driver leaves, you must inspect the pallet. If the shrink wrap is torn or boxes are crushed, you must write "DAMAGED" on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
Subject to Inspection: If the driver cannot wait for a full unboxing, you must write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the BOL before signing. Once you sign and accept a shipment without notation, you release the carrier of liability.

6. Shipping Constraints & Accuracy

Territory: We ship exclusively to the Continental United States. We DO NOT ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, or International destinations.
Address Accuracy: Please verify your "Ship To" address at checkout. Successfully rerouting a package in transit incurs a $21 carrier fee plus additional shipping charges, which are the customer's responsibility.
Shipment Refusals: If a package is refused, a $21 service fee plus return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
