Frequently Asked Questions

Obsidian Forged Auto Supply helps truck, Jeep, SUV, and off-road buyers choose the right parts with clearer fitment guidance, technical support, and product-specific details before ordering.

Use this FAQ for common questions about fitment, ordering, shipping, returns, warranties, and support.

Fitment & Technical Support

How do I know if a part fits my vehicle?

Every product page should be reviewed for its listed fitment, exclusions, product notes, and manufacturer requirements before ordering.

Fitment can depend on more than year, make, and model.

Fitment Factor What To Check
Year / Make / Model Confirm the exact vehicle application
Trim Check packages like Rubicon, AT4, Denali, Tremor, Power Wagon, ZR2, Raptor, TRD Pro, and similar trims
Engine Verify gas, diesel, EcoDiesel, HEMI, Duramax, Power Stroke, EcoBoost, or other engine-specific requirements
Drivetrain Confirm 2WD, 4WD, AWD, solid axle, IFS, or axle-specific fitment
Cab / Bed Review cab style, bed length, and wheelbase requirements
Current Mods Account for lift kits, leveling kits, wheels, tires, bumpers, brakes, and suspension upgrades

If your vehicle is modified, do not assume standard catalog fitment applies.

Can I get fitment help before I order?

Compatible With Designed to work with listed vehicles or configurations

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods may include major credit/debit cards and supported digital wallet or financing options at checkout.

Payment Type Examples
Credit / Debit Cards Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
Digital Wallets Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
Financing / Pay Over Time Affirm, Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, or other available checkout providers

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through secure checkout providers. Obsidian Forged Auto Supply does not store your full credit card information.

Can I cancel my order?

Contact us immediately if you need to cancel.

Orders may process quickly through supplier or warehouse fulfillment. Once an order has been processed, packed, shipped, or submitted to the manufacturer, cancellation may no longer be available.

If the order cannot be canceled, it must follow the applicable return policy.

Do you track live inventory?

No. Obsidian Forged Auto Supply does not display live warehouse quantities.

Availability can depend on supplier stock, warehouse location, manufacturer status, and fulfillment timing. If timing matters, contact support before ordering so availability can be checked when possible.

Shipping & Delivery

Is shipping free?

Obsidian Forged Auto Supply offers free ground shipping on eligible orders within the contiguous United States unless otherwise stated on the product page or checkout.

Some oversized, freight, remote-area, or special-order shipments may have additional requirements or restrictions.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping time depends on the product, supplier, warehouse location, carrier, and destination.

Stage What It Means
Processing Order review, warehouse routing, and fulfillment setup
Handling Picking, packing, palletizing, or freight preparation
Transit Carrier movement from warehouse to delivery address
Delivery Final drop-off, freight appointment, or residential delivery

Large, oversized, or freight items may take longer than small parcel shipments.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping may be available for certain products, depending on size, weight, warehouse location, and carrier options.

Oversized, heavy, freight, special-order, or manufacturer-direct items may not qualify for expedited shipping.

How are heavy or oversized items shipped?

Heavy and oversized items may ship by LTL freight.

This can include:

Freight Requirement What It Means
Palletized Shipment Product ships secured on a pallet
Delivery Appointment Carrier may contact you to schedule delivery
Residential Delivery Extra coordination may be required
Liftgate Service May be required if no forklift or loading dock is available
Inspection Required Freight must be inspected before signing delivery paperwork

For freight shipments, inspect the shipment before signing. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

No. Most products require a physical shipping address.

Many parts are too large or heavy for PO Box delivery.

Returns & Damage Claims

What if my order arrives damaged?

Inspect the shipment immediately.

If damage is visible:

Step Action
1 Take clear photos of the box, pallet, label, product, and damaged area
2 Keep all packaging
3 For freight shipments, note damage on the Bill of Lading before signing
4 Contact support as soon as possible with your order number and photos

Do not install damaged parts. Installation may affect the damage claim process.

What is your return policy?

Returns depend on the product, condition, manufacturer rules, and return eligibility.

In general, eligible returns must be:

Requirement Details
New Product must be unused and uninstalled
Complete All parts, hardware, instructions, and packaging must be included
Original Packaging Product must be returned in manufacturer packaging when required
Approved First Do not ship anything back without return authorization
Within Policy Window Return timing depends on the applicable return policy

Some products may be non-returnable, including special-order items, installed parts, electrical items, opened kits, custom-fit items, freight items, or manufacturer-restricted products.

Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees, return shipping costs, or original outbound freight deductions.

Can I return a part if I ordered the wrong fitment?

Possibly, but it depends on the product and manufacturer return rules.

The part must generally be new, uninstalled, complete, and return-authorized. If the product is non-returnable or manufacturer-restricted, it may not qualify.

Fitment should be verified before purchase.

This includes:

Not Covered
