Component Specifications

Factory front rake — why this kit exists: The 2011–2016 Super Duty comes from the factory with the front end raked down 1–2 inches lower than the rear. This is an intentional engineering decision for payload geometry — when the truck is loaded at the rated capacity, the rake evens out to a level stance. What Is and Is NOT Included

Alignment cams included: Unlike the 1997–2003 F-150 (where alignment cams were a frequent missing-from-factory item), the ZONF45 includes upper ball joint alignment cams as part of the kit. Nitro shock option: If front shock performance improvement is desired alongside the lift, the ZONF45N adds Nitro gas shocks and U-bolts to the same kit architecture. Factory shocks are retained on the ZONF45 — the coil spacer design does not require shock replacement, but an upgrade is available.

Critical Compatibility

Year range is the primary compatibility gate. Ford redesigned the Super Duty for 2017 — the 2016 and 2017 Super Duty are completely different platforms from a front suspension standpoint. Installing ZONF45 coil spacers on a 2017+ Super Duty will produce incorrect geometry. Confirm your model year before ordering. If your truck is 2017 or newer, order ZONF93.

The front coil suspension is 4WD-specific. The 2WD Super Duty uses a different front suspension architecture — coil spacers for the 4WD independent front suspension do not apply to 2WD configurations.

No shock replacement required: The lower coil mount spacer design retains factory shocks at their original mounting positions — shock travel and operating angles are not significantly compromised at 2 inches of front lift. If shock performance is a priority, the ZONF45N upgrade is available.
