Description
The sPOD SourceLT Wireless Switch Controller (SKU 870125) is the vehicle-specific 6-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2003–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2004–2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ. All 6 circuits are controlled entirely through the sPOD app on your phone or tablet — no physical switch panel required in the cabin. The SourceLT module mounts under the hood via the included Jeep-specific bracket. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped, no cab penetration required. Operates on 12V DC. Entry tier in the TJ/LJ sPOD wireless lineup.
This system is not expandable beyond 6 circuits. If your build requires 8 circuits now or in the future, order the BantamX Wireless (870124) instead.

TJ vs. LJ — What This Kit Fits
| Vehicle | Years | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Jeep Wrangler TJ (2-door) | 2003–2006 | Final four years of TJ production |
| Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ (long-wheelbase) | 2004–2006 | Full LJ production run — LJ launched 2004, no 2003 LJ exists |
Both platforms share the same 2003+ engine and transmission harness architecture. The 2003 model year is the confirmed start point for this kit.
SourceLT vs. BantamX Wireless — TJ/LJ Circuit Count Selector
| SKU | System | Circuits | Voltage | Expandable | Price vs 870125 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 870125 (this listing) | SourceLT Wireless | 6 | 12V DC only | No | — |
| 870124 | BantamX Wireless | 8 | 12V or 24V DC | Yes — to 32 | +$105 |
Choose 870125 if your build is at 6 accessories or fewer with no plans to expand. Choose 870124 if you need 8 circuits, plan to grow, or want 24V compatibility. The SourceLT has no upgrade path — replacing it later costs more than buying up front.
Kit Contents
- sPOD SourceLT solid-state module (6-circuit)

- 84-inch battery cable set (hi-strand crosslinked copper, silicone jacket, nylon braid)
- All required installation hardware
Critical Compatibility — Does NOT Fit
FITMENT: Built for the 2003–2006 TJ and 2004–2006 LJ only. The 2003 start date reflects the transmission and wiring harness change Jeep made in the 2003 model year — the vehicle-specific bracket and harness are designed around that configuration. Questions? Text (469) 407-7538.
| Configuration | Reason |
|---|---|
| 1997–2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ | Different wiring harness architecture — Jeep switched from the 32RH 3-speed to the 42RLE 4-speed automatic in 2003, changing the engine and transmission wiring configuration. This kit is not confirmed for 1997–2002 TJ. Text (469) 407-7538 before ordering. |
| 2003 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ | The LJ did not launch until 2004. There is no 2003 LJ. |
| Jeep Wrangler JK — 2007–2018 | Different platform. Order a JK-specific sPOD SourceLT kit. |
| Jeep Wrangler JL — 2018–2026 | Different platform. Order the JL/JT SourceLT Wireless (870119). |
| Jeep Gladiator JT — 2020–2026 | Different platform. Order the JL/JT SourceLT Wireless (870119). |
| Jeep Wrangler YJ, CJ — all years | Not compatible. No vehicle-specific kit exists for these platforms. |
| Builds requiring more than 6 circuits | SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system. Order BantamX Wireless (870124) for 8 expandable circuits. |
| Winches and high-draw recovery motors | 30A max per circuit. Winches draw 250–400A under load. Wire winches direct to battery through a dedicated relay. |
| Any accessory requiring more than 30A per circuit | 30A hard ceiling per circuit. High-draw devices require direct battery wiring outside this system. |
Common Questions
I have a 2001 or 2002 TJ. Can I order this kit? Not confirmed. This kit is rated 2003–2006 specifically because of the transmission and wiring harness change Jeep made in the 2003 model year. Text (469) 407-7538 with your exact year before ordering — do not assume compatibility.
Is there a 2003 Wrangler Unlimited LJ? No. The LJ Unlimited launched in 2004. If you have a long-wheelbase Wrangler from 2003, confirm your vehicle before ordering.
What is the real difference between this and the BantamX Wireless (870124) for the same platform? Three differences. Circuits: SourceLT gives you 6, BantamX gives you 8. Expandability: SourceLT is a closed system with no expansion path. BantamX is expandable to 32 channels. Voltage: SourceLT runs 12V DC only. BantamX runs 12V or 24V DC. If 6 circuits is genuinely your ceiling, the SourceLT saves you $105. If there is any chance you add accessories later, the BantamX is the better foundation.
Does installation require cutting factory wires or tapping into the TJ harness? No. The SourceLT module connects directly to the battery via the included 84-inch cable set and mounts under the hood via the Jeep-specific bracket. No factory circuits are tapped, no wires are cut, no cab penetration required.
What does installation actually take — time, tools, and skill level? Intermediate DIY level. No wire cutting, drilling, or crimping required. The Jeep-specific bracket eliminates guesswork on under-hood placement. Plan for 1.5–2 hours. Basic hand tools handle the battery terminal connections. If you are not comfortable working at the battery terminals, have a qualified automotive electrician complete that step. Text (469) 407-7538 with pre-install questions.
The Obsidian Take
The SourceLT Wireless (870125) is for the TJ or LJ owner running 6 accessories or fewer who wants app-controlled power management without a switch panel, without cab wiring, and without paying for capacity they will never use. Clean interior. App control. Jeep-specific bracket. Five-year warranty.
The one question to answer honestly before ordering is whether 6 circuits is actually your ceiling. If you are already close to that number or have accessories still on the list, spend the extra $105 and order the BantamX (870124). The SourceLT has no upgrade path — swapping it out later costs more than buying up front.
Six circuits. App control. Nothing in the cab. If that covers your build, this is all you need.
