Description
The sPOD SourceLT Wireless Switch Controller (SKU 870121) is the vehicle-specific 6-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited. All 6 circuits are controlled entirely through the sPOD app on your phone or tablet — no physical switch panel required in the cabin. The SourceLT module mounts under the hood via the included Jeep-specific bracket. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped, no cab penetration required. Operates on 12V DC. Entry tier in the JK sPOD wireless lineup.
This system is not expandable beyond 6 circuits. If your build requires 8 circuits now or in the future, order the BantamX Wireless (870120) for the JK platform instead.

SourceLT vs. BantamX Wireless — JK Circuit Count Selector
| SKU | System | Circuits | Voltage | Expandable | Price vs 870121 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 870121 (this listing) | SourceLT Wireless | 6 | 12V DC only | No | — |
| 870120 | BantamX Wireless | 8 | 12V or 24V DC | Yes — to 32 | Higher |
Choose 870121 if your build is at 6 accessories or fewer with no plans to expand. Choose 870120 if you need 8 circuits, plan to grow, or want 24V compatibility. The SourceLT has no upgrade path — replacing it later costs more than buying up front.

Critical Compatibility — Does NOT Fit
FITMENT: Built for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited only. Do not substitute JL-specific sPOD harness kits — connector and pinout configurations are not interchangeable between JK and JL platforms. Questions? Text (469) 407-7538.
| Configuration | Reason |
|---|---|
| 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL — all engines | Different platform and electrical architecture. JK and JL harness connectors are not interchangeable. Order the JL/JT SourceLT Wireless (870119). |
| 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT | Different platform. Order the JL/JT SourceLT Wireless (870119). |
| 2003–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ / LJ | Different platform. Order the TJ/LJ SourceLT Wireless (870125). |
| 1997–2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ | Different platform. Text (469) 407-7538 to confirm correct SKU. |
| Jeep Wrangler YJ, CJ — all years | Not compatible. No vehicle-specific kit exists for these platforms. |
| Builds requiring more than 6 circuits | SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system. Order BantamX Wireless (870120) for 8 expandable circuits on the JK platform. |
| Winches and high-draw recovery motors | 30A max per circuit. Winches draw 250–400A under load. Wire winches direct to battery through a dedicated relay. |
| Any accessory requiring more than 30A per circuit | 30A hard ceiling per circuit. High-draw devices require direct battery wiring outside this system. |
Common Questions
What is the real difference between this and the BantamX Wireless (870120) for the same JK platform? Three differences. Circuits: SourceLT gives you 6, BantamX gives you 8. Expandability: SourceLT is a closed system with no expansion path. BantamX is expandable to 32 channels. Voltage: SourceLT runs 12V DC only. BantamX runs 12V or 24V DC. If 6 circuits is your ceiling, the SourceLT is the right call at a lower price point. If there is any chance you add accessories later, the BantamX is the better foundation.
I want wireless app control but also want to be able to hit switches on trail without my phone. Is that possible with this system? Not with the SourceLT Wireless alone — this system is app-only with no physical panel. If you want physical switch access alongside app control, order the SourceLT with a Mini6 switch panel instead. The wireless-only setup works well for builds where the phone is always mounted and accessible, but if you need tactile switching for lockers, lights, or a compressor mid-obstacle, factor in your phone mount position and app response time before committing to a wireless-only configuration.
Does installation require cutting factory wires or tapping into the JK harness? No. The SourceLT module connects directly to the battery via the included 84-inch cable set and mounts under the hood via the Jeep-specific bracket. No factory circuits are tapped, no wires are cut, no cab penetration required.
Can I upgrade to 8 circuits later without replacing the module? No. The SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system with no expansion ports. If there is any chance you need 8 circuits, order the BantamX Wireless (870120) now. Upgrading later means replacing the entire module.
What does installation actually take — time, tools, and skill level? Intermediate DIY level. No wire cutting, drilling, or crimping required. The Jeep-specific bracket eliminates guesswork on under-hood placement. Plan for 1.5–2 hours. Basic hand tools handle the battery terminal connections. If you are not comfortable working at the battery terminals, have a qualified automotive electrician complete that step. Text (469) 407-7538 with pre-install questions.
The Obsidian Take
The SourceLT Wireless (870121) is for the JK owner running 6 accessories or fewer who wants app-controlled power management without a switch panel, without cab wiring, and without paying for capacity they will never use. Clean under-hood install. App control from anywhere. Nothing mounted in the cabin.
Two things to answer before ordering. First — is 6 circuits actually your ceiling? If you are close to that number or have accessories still on the wish list, the extra cost of the BantamX (870120) is worth it now rather than paying to replace the whole module later. Second — are you comfortable running app-only control on trail? If you need instant tactile switching for lockers or lights mid-obstacle, pair with a physical panel instead.
If app-only, 6-circuit wireless power management is exactly what your JK build needs, this is the cleanest way to get there.
