Description
The sPOD SourceLT Modular (SKU SLMOD84B) is the universal 6-circuit solid-state power management system with a Blue LED Carling Contura switch panel and 84-inch battery cables — for overland, off-road, UTV, work truck, and custom builds where no vehicle-specific kit exists for the platform. The SourceLT module and aluminum-formed Carling switch panel mount wherever the build requires. Single 10-foot CAT-6 cable between both. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped. Operates on 12V DC. Blue LED — high-contrast visibility for daily drivers and mixed-use builds.

Critical Compatibility
| Configuration | Notes |
|---|---|
| Builds requiring more than 6 circuits | SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system. No expansion path. Order a universal BantamX kit for 8 expandable circuits. |
| 24V DC electrical systems | SourceLT operates on 12V DC only. |
| Winches and high-draw recovery motors | 30A max per circuit. Wire winches direct to battery through a dedicated relay. |
| Any accessory requiring more than 30A per circuit | 30A hard ceiling per circuit. High-draw devices require direct battery wiring outside this system. |
| High-amp solenoids on the same battery post | Isolate the SourceLT battery connection from any high-amp relay or solenoid on the same positive post. |
Common Questions
Blue vs. Green for a daily driver or mixed-use build? Both are strong choices for builds that see regular street use. Blue provides high-contrast switch-state visibility against dark interior panels and matches factory blue ambient lighting in many modern vehicles. Green sits at peak human eye sensitivity and offers slightly better readability across a wider range of lighting conditions. For a build that primarily runs during the day or in well-lit environments, the difference is subtle and comes down to preference. For dedicated night trail use, step down to Amber (SL-MOD-84-A) or Red (SLMOD84R) for better night vision preservation.
Why 84-inch cables instead of 36-inch? 84-inch cables give you 7 feet of routing flexibility between the battery and the module — necessary for full-size trucks, van builds, overland rigs, and custom layouts where the module mounts away from the battery. If your module will be within 3 feet of the battery, the 36-inch version (SL-MOD-36-B) is the cleaner choice with less cable to manage.
What makes this "Modular"? Universal hardware — no vehicle-specific bracket or platform harness is included. Both the module and switch panel mount in positions you determine. Order this when no vehicle-specific SourceLT kit exists for your platform or when you are building a custom electrical layout.
Can I expand beyond 6 circuits later? No. The SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system. No expansion path. If there is any chance you need more circuits, order a universal BantamX kit instead.
The Obsidian Take
The SourceLT Modular (SLMOD84B) is for the builder running a custom or non-catalogued platform who wants 6 circuits of clean, fuse-free accessory power with a Blue LED panel — high-contrast visibility for a build that sees regular street use alongside trail time. Same SourceLT system as every vehicle-specific kit, in universal hardware that mounts on your terms.
If this rig runs more trail at night than street by day, consider Amber or Red instead. If 6 circuits is the ceiling and 84-inch cables match the routing path, this is the right kit.
Non-Returnable Notice: Electrical systems that have been powered and connected to a vehicle are non-returnable. Inspect the kit and confirm fitment before connecting to the battery.
