The sPOD RAM Track Ball with T-Bolt Attachment (SKU 860255) is the required interface between a RAM Tough-Track rail and any RAM 1-inch ball arm or device holder. The T-bolt slides into the RAM track channel and locks in place — repositionable without tools, stable under off-road vibration. Use with the sPOD RAM Tough-Track (860250) or any other RAM track system using a standard T-bolt channel. RAM track and device accessories are not included.
If you ordered the sPOD RAM Tough-Track (860250), this is the first accessory you need before anything else mounts to it.

Do I need one of these per device, or one per track? One per device mounting point. Each T-bolt ball provides one 1-inch RAM ball attachment point. If you are mounting two devices to the same track, you need two of these. Up to four can be used simultaneously on the 12-inch sPOD RAM Tough-Track (860250).
Can I reposition this without tools after installation? Yes. Loosen the T-bolt knob, slide the ball along the track to your desired position, and retighten. No tools required for repositioning — only for the initial track installation.
What is the difference between this and the sPOD 1/4-20 threaded RAM ball (860225)? Different attachment method. The 860225 threads into a 1/4-20 threaded hole in a bracket or panel — fixed position. The 860255 T-bolt slides along a RAM track channel — repositionable anywhere along the track length. Choose based on your mounting surface: threaded panel = 860225, RAM track = 860255.
