What is the difference between vertical and horizontal legends? The label orientation matches how the text reads relative to the switch position. On a horizontally-oriented panel, the legend text reads left-to-right. On a vertically-oriented panel — common in UTV console mounts, pillar mounts, and custom dash positions where the panel is rotated 90 degrees — the legend text reads top-to-bottom. Confirm your panel's mounting orientation before ordering.
Do these legends work with the HD panel's RGB backlight? Yes. The transparent lettering is specifically designed to allow the HD panel's RGB backlight to shine through each legend — the label does not block the illumination.
