The sPOD Ethernet Control Cable (SKU 910015) is the 25-foot maximum-length cable for long-distance routing between sPOD power modules and switch interfaces — compatible with BantamX, SourceLT, Mini6, and Mini4 systems. Use when your module and switch interface are separated by more than 15 feet, or when a large vehicle, van, overland rig, or custom electrical layout requires extended cable reach. Cable only — power module and switch panel not included.
This is the maximum system-supported cable length. The sPOD system supports up to 25 feet total between the power module and switch interface. This cable uses the full system allocation — no additional extension is possible beyond this length.

My routing path is just over 25 feet. Can I extend this cable? No. The sPOD system supports a maximum of 25 feet between the power module and the switch interface. Extending beyond this limit causes signal degradation and potential system faults. If your required routing path exceeds 25 feet, the solution is to reposition the module closer to the switch interface — not to extend the cable.
Do I need to do anything special to manage 25 feet of cable in my build? Yes. A 25-foot cable run in a cab, cargo area, or chassis requires deliberate routing and securing throughout its entire length. Unsecured cable in a high-vibration off-road environment will chafe against chassis components and fail at the connector over time. Use split loom, cable clips, or adhesive mounts to secure the cable at regular intervals along the full routing path. Plan the route before installation.
Can I use a standard 25-foot CAT-6 patch cable? The RJ45 CAT-6 spec is standard, but the sPOD cable uses reinforced, weather-resistant construction rated for vibration, temperature swing, and moisture exposure.
