The sPOD system supports a maximum cable run of 25 feet between the power module and the switch interface. The standard included cable in most kits is 10 feet. If your routing path requires more than 10 feet, adding this cable extends reach up to the 25-foot system maximum. Measure your routing path from the module to the switch interface with the cable routed through panels, around obstacles, and along the actual installation path — not point-to-point straight-line distance.

Technically the connector spec is standard RJ45 CAT-6, but sPOD's cable uses reinforced, weather-resistant construction rated for the vibration, temperature, and moisture exposure in off-road environments. A standard commercial Ethernet cable is designed for static indoor use and may fail prematurely in an off-road or under-hood environment. Use the sPOD-specified cable for long-term reliability.
My routing distance is more than 10 feet. Can I daisy-chain two cables? The sPOD system supports up to 25 feet total between the module and switch interface.
