The sPOD BantamX Wireless Switch Controller (SKU 870118) is the vehicle-specific 8-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. All 8 circuits are controlled entirely through the sPOD app on your phone or tablet — no physical switch panel required in the cabin. The BantamX module mounts under the hood via the included Jeep-specific bracket. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped, no cab penetration required. Expandable to 32 channels. Operates on 12V or 24V DC.
This system does NOT fit the Jeep Wrangler 392 V8. For the 392, order the 392-specific BantamX wireless SKU. JL/JT diesel and 4xe owners require a special bracket not included in this kit — see compatibility section before ordering.

I have a 4xe or diesel JL. Can I use this kit? The 870118 kit itself is compatible with your platform, but the included Jeep-specific mounting bracket does not fit diesel or 4xe engine bay configurations. You will need a separate bracket. There is no switch panel — how do I control accessories on trail? Through the sPOD app on your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. You can label each circuit, toggle accessories on and off, monitor circuit status, and program dimming, strobe, flash, and momentary functions entirely from the app. If you want physical buttons you can reach without your phone, order the BantamX HD or BantamX Switch Panel Kit instead.
Does installation require cutting factory wires or tapping into the JL harness? No. The BantamX module connects directly to the battery via the included cable set and mounts under the hood via the Jeep-specific bracket. No factory circuits are tapped, no wires are cut, no cab penetration required. There is no switch panel cable to run into the cab.
Can I expand beyond 8 circuits later? Yes. The BantamX has two RJ45 controller ports and is expandable to 32 channels via the sPOD BantamX add-on system. This is not a closed system.

If you want physical switches you can hit without looking at your phone mid-obstacle, this is not the right system. Order the BantamX HD or Switch Panel Kit. If a clean interior and app-first control are the build priorities, the 870118 delivers exactly that.
One thing to confirm before every other consideration: if your JL is a 392 V8, this SKU does not fit. That is a hard stop.
