Fitment, Shipping & Product Support

The sPOD BantamX Upfitter Kit (SKU 910007) is the vehicle-specific 8-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2023–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty equipped with factory upfitter switches. It wires directly into the factory upfitter switch bank β€” upgrading the first 4 OEM switches to a consistent 30A per channel and adding 2–4 additional channels depending on configuration, for 8 total circuits. No controller cable runs through the firewall. No separate switch panel required. Bluetooth control via the sPOD app in parallel with the factory switches. Expandable to 32 channels.

This kit requires factory upfitter switches. If your Super Duty does not have the factory upfitter switch bank, order a standalone sPOD system instead.

How the Upfitter Integration Works

The 14th gen Super Duty (2023–2026) includes a factory upfitter switch bank on select trims. Those switches are designed for accessory control but are limited to low amperage in the factory configuration.

The BantamX Upfitter Kit connects to the factory upfitter switch wiring in the engine bay. The first 4 OEM switches are upgraded to a consistent 30A per channel through the BantamX MOSFET circuits. The kit adds 2–4 additional Bluetooth-controlled channels on top of those OEM switches, for 8 total circuits. Exact additional channel count depends on your trim's upfitter switch configuration.

Function Factory OEM Only With BantamX Upfitter
Switch count Up to 4 OEM upfitter switches 4 OEM channels upgraded + 2–4 extra = 8 total
Amp rating per switch Low β€” OEM factory rating 30A per channel across all 8 circuits
Bluetooth control None All circuits via sPOD app
Firewall cable run N/A Not required
Expandability None Up to 32 channels

Kit Contents

  • sPOD BantamX solid-state module (8-circuit, expandable)
  • 84-inch battery cable set (hi-strand crosslinked copper, silicone jacket, nylon braid)
  • Vehicle-specific mounting bracket
  • All required installation hardware

2023–2026 Super Duty sPOD System Selector

SKU System Circuits Upfitter Required Interface Price
910007 (this listing) BantamX Upfitter 8 Yes β€” required Factory switches + Bluetooth app Lowest
870140 BantamX HD 8 No Physical HD panel Higher
870141 BantamX HD 8 No Physical HD panel Higher
870142 Mini6 SourceLT 6 No Physical Mini6 panel Confirm

The 910007 is the lowest price option in the Super Duty sPOD lineup because the factory upfitter switches serve as the control interface β€” no separate switch panel is included. If your Super Duty does not have factory upfitter switches, order a standalone system. Confirm the distinction between 870140 and 870141 before ordering if considering those SKUs β€” both are standalone HD BantamX kits for the same platform.

Which Super Duty Trims Have Factory Upfitter Switches?

Factory upfitter switches are standard on Super Duty XL trims built for commercial and fleet applications, and available on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims depending on package selection. The F-250 and F-350 SRW configurations are confirmed fitments. F-350 DRW owners should confirm compatibility before ordering β€” text (469) 407-7538.

Confirm your trim's upfitter switch bank on your window sticker, build sheet, or Ford dealer portal before ordering.

Critical Compatibility β€” Does NOT Fit

FITMENT: Requires factory upfitter switch bank. 2022 and earlier Super Duty owners β€” this kit does not fit. F-150 owners β€” this kit does not fit. Questions? Text (469) 407-7538.

Configuration Reason
2023–2026 Super Duty trims WITHOUT factory upfitter switches This kit requires the factory upfitter switch bank. Without it, there is no trigger source for the BantamX circuits. Order 870140, 870141, or 870142 instead.
2022 or earlier Ford Super Duty (13th Gen or prior) Different platform and upfitter switch architecture. This kit does not fit.
Ford F-150 β€” all generations Different platform. Not compatible with this SKU.
Ford F-350 DRW (Dually) Compatibility not confirmed β€” text (469) 407-7538 before ordering.
Ford Ranger, Explorer, Expedition β€” all years Different platform. Not compatible with this SKU.
Winches and high-draw recovery motors 30A max per circuit. Winches draw 250–400A under load. Wire winches direct to battery through a dedicated relay.
Any accessory requiring more than 30A per circuit 30A hard ceiling per circuit. High-draw devices require direct battery wiring outside this system.

Common Questions

What exactly does "upfitter switch integration" mean on the Super Duty? The factory upfitter switches are low-current trigger switches β€” they signal accessories to activate but are not rated to carry high accessory amperage directly. The BantamX Upfitter Kit uses those factory switches as triggers for the BantamX MOSFET circuits. When you flip a factory upfitter switch, it signals the BantamX to activate that circuit at up to 30A. Accessory power comes from the battery through the BantamX β€” not through the factory switch itself.

My Super Duty has 4 factory upfitter switches. Does this give me exactly 8 circuits? Yes β€” 4 OEM channels upgraded to 30A each, plus 2–4 additional Bluetooth-controlled channels depending on your trim's configuration, for 8 total circuits. The additional channels are controlled via the sPOD app.

Do I need to run a cable through the firewall? No. The factory upfitter switches are already wired into the vehicle's electrical system. The BantamX module connects to that wiring in the engine bay β€” no controller cable needs to pass through the firewall into the cab.

Does installation require cutting factory wires? No. This is a Connect and Go system engineered specifically to integrate with the Super Duty's factory upfitter switch wiring without cutting or splicing any factory circuits.

What does installation actually take β€” time, tools, and skill level? Intermediate to advanced DIY level. Electrical integration with the factory upfitter switch wiring requires familiarity with the 14th gen Super Duty's accessory switch architecture. Plan for 2–3 hours. Professional installation is recommended for the upfitter switch integration step. Text (469) 407-7538 with pre-install questions.

The Obsidian Take

The BantamX Upfitter Kit (910007) is for the 2023–2026 Super Duty owner who already has factory upfitter switches and wants to turn those low-current OEM triggers into 30A MOSFET-controlled circuits β€” plus add extra channels on top β€” without mounting a separate switch panel anywhere in the cab and without running a cable through the firewall. It is the lowest price sPOD option for this platform because the factory switch interface is already there.

Two things to confirm before ordering. First β€” does your trim have the factory upfitter switch bank? If not, order a standalone system. Second β€” is your Super Duty an F-350 DRW? Confirm compatibility before ordering. If you have a standard F-250 or F-350 SRW with factory upfitter switches, this kit was built for your truck.
