The sPOD BantamX Touchscreen Kit (SKU 870040) is the vehicle-specific 8-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT with a 3.5-inch TFT LCD touchscreen interface. Customizable circuit labels, real-time monitoring, dimming, strobe, and momentary programming from the touchscreen or the sPOD app. BantamX module mounts in the engine bay. Single CAT-6 cable into the cab. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped. Expandable to 32 channels. Operates on 12V or 24V DC.
This kit does NOT fit the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 V8. Diesel and 4xe variants require a special bracket — confirm before ordering. The touchscreen becomes inoperable below 20°F — allow the cab to warm before use.

Common Questions
Does this fit the Wrangler Rubicon 392? No. The Rubicon 392 V8 has a different engine bay layout and this kit will not install correctly. A dedicated sPOD BantamX kit exists specifically for the 392.

The touchscreen is inoperable below 20°F — how significant is that for trail use? In a heated cab at operating temperature, this is not a practical limitation for most trail use. The touchscreen responds once the display warms up. For extreme cold operations — doors-off desert winter camping, high-altitude snow runs, or sustained sub-zero temperatures — the HD panel (870025) has no cold weather limitation and may be the better choice for those conditions.

Can I expand beyond 8 circuits? Yes. The BantamX has two RJ45 controller ports and is expandable to 32 channels via BantamX add-on modules.
