The sPOD BantamX HD Kit (SKU BXHDUNI36) is the universal 8-circuit solid-state power management system with the RGB backlit HD silicone-button panel and 36-inch battery cables — for trucks, SUVs, UTVs, overland rigs, and custom builds where the module mounts close to the battery and no vehicle-specific BantamX kit exists for the platform. Precision-machined billet aluminum HD panel with tactile silicone buttons, adjustable RGB backlight, and a single RJ45 jack connecting to the BantamX module via 10-foot CAT-6 cable. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped. Operates on 12V or 24V DC. Expandable to 32 circuits.

How do I confirm 36-inch cables are sufficient? Measure the actual routing path from the battery to the planned module location — not straight-line distance. Route the tape measure through the same path the cable will take: through firewall openings, along routing channels, to the mount point. If it exceeds 3 feet, order BXHDUNI84. A cable that falls short mid-install requires a return.
HD panel vs. Modular panel — which is right for my build? Different switch technology and housing. The HD uses silicone tactile buttons with adjustable RGB backlight in a billet aluminum housing — operable by feel in the dark, any color you choose. The Modular uses Carling Contura IP66/68-rated rocker switches in a welded aluminum housing with fixed LED color options. Same BantamX module, same 8 circuits, same expandability. If LED color specificity for night vision matters, the Modular lineup is more targeted. If RGB flexibility and tactile button operation are the priority, the HD is the right call.
Can I run the HD panel alongside a touchscreen or other sPOD controller? Yes. The HD panel runs in conjunction with the sPOD Touchscreen, Bluetooth, and 8-switch panels simultaneously. All control interfaces operate the same 8 circuits on the BantamX module.
Can I expand beyond 8 circuits later? Yes. The BantamX has two RJ45 controller ports and is expandable to 32 channels via BantamX add-on modules. Order BXUNI36ADD for near-battery add-on placement.
