The sPOD BantamX HD Kit (SKU 870025) is the vehicle-specific 8-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. The HD switch panel mounts in the JL/JT cab via vehicle-specific hardware. The BantamX module mounts in the engine bay. A single CAT-6 cable connects both. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped. Expandable to 32 channels. Operates on 12V or 24V DC.
This kit does NOT fit the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 V8. A separate BantamX HD kit exists for the 392. Diesel and 4xe variants require a special bracket — confirm before ordering. JK owners order 870020 instead.

I have a 2018 Wrangler — is it a JL or JK? Both the JK and JL were produced in the 2018 model year. The JL launched in early 2018 as the next-generation Wrangler. If your 2018 Wrangler is a JL, this kit fits. If it is a JK, order 870020. Confirm your generation on your window sticker, door jamb, or VIN decoder before ordering. Does this fit the Wrangler Rubicon 392? No. The Rubicon 392 V8 has a different engine bay layout and this kit will not install correctly. A dedicated sPOD BantamX HD kit exists specifically for the 392. Do not order 870025 for a 392.
I have a 4xe or a diesel — does this kit fit? With a special bracket. The standard 870025 kit hardware does not fit the 4xe or diesel engine configurations without an additional bracket. Confirm with sPOD or text (469) 407-7538 before ordering.
Does installation require cutting factory wires or tapping the JL/JT harness? No. The BantamX module connects directly to the battery. A single CAT-6 cable runs from the engine bay module to the cab-mounted HD panel. No factory circuits are tapped, no wires are cut.
Can I expand beyond 8 circuits later? Yes. The BantamX has two RJ45 controller ports and is expandable to 32 channels via BantamX add-on modules (BXUNI84ADD or BXUNI36ADD).
