As a general guideline for a 2.5" lift on the Land Cruiser platform, tires in the 265/70R18 to 275/65R18 range are commonly run without trimming. Every tire and wheel combination must be test fit prior to final installation. Upgrading to heavier 10-ply (Load Range E) all-terrain or mud-terrain tires will noticeably increase suspension stiffness and alter ride harshness compared to factory 6-ply (Load Range C) tires.
