Fabricated steel strut extension + billet preload spacer — engineering distinction: The front lift comes from a fabricated steel upper strut extension working with a billet preload spacer, raising the front without disassembling or re-valving the factory strut. That's what keeps the SST kit economical to install and preserves the factory ride character.
Where this sits in the lineup: This is ReadyLIFT's entry-tier SST for the new Tacoma — a spacer-and-extension kit with no upper control arms and no differential drop. It's the simpler, lower-cost path to a level 2.5"/1.0" stance versus the full 3" SST system.

Critical Compatibility
Factory rear coil spring only. This kit is for 2024–2026 Tacoma models with factory rear coil springs. Leaf-spring-equipped Tacomas are not compatible — this is the single most important thing to confirm before ordering.
Not for TRD Pro, Trailhunter, or AVS. TRD Pro and Trailhunter use different factory suspension, and models with Adaptive Variable Suspension are excluded.
Sway bar disconnect untested. ReadyLIFT has not verified fitment with the optional factory disconnecting sway bar. If your truck has it, confirm before ordering.
No UCAs or diff drop in this kit. Unlike the 3" SST kit (69-54300), the 2.5" kit is a spacer-and-extension system. It's a cleaner, faster install for a moderate lift, but it does not include the corrected-geometry UCAs or differential drop of the taller kit.
TSS/ADAS recalibration required. The lift changes camera, radar, and headlamp angles. Toyota Safety Sense, Pre-Collision, Lane Departure Alert, and auto high beams must be recalibrated after install.

Wheel & Tire Fitment
Fitment figures are based on Wheel Pros wheels and Nitto tires; overall diameter, tread width, aspect ratio, and sidewall construction vary meaningfully by manufacturer, so every tire-and-wheel combination must be test fit before final installation.
| Wheel | Tire | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Stock (17x7 +60) | 285/70R17 | No trim — widest on the stock wheel (knuckle clearance) |
| 17x8 +35 | 285/70R17 | No trim |
| 17x8 +35 | 285/75R17 | No trim — max no-trim size |
| 17x8.5 +47 | 285/70R17 | No trim |
| 17x8.5 +47 | 285/75R17 | No trim |
| 17x8.5 +25 | 285/70R17 | No trim |
| 17x9 +1 | 285/70R17 | May require trimming (4mm clearance) |
| 18x8 +35 | 285/65R18 | No trim |
| 18x8 +35 | 285/70R18 | No trim |
| 18x8.5 +47 | 285/65R18 | No trim |
| 18x8.5 +47 | 285/70R18 | No trim |
| 18x8.5 +25 | 285/65R18 | No trim |
| 18x9 +1 | 285/65R18 | May require trimming (4mm clearance) |
| 20x8.5 +35 | 295/55R20 | No trim |
| 20x9 +18 | 295/55R20 | No trim |
| 20x9 +1 | 295/55R20 | May require trimming (4mm clearance) |
Ride quality note: Stepping up to heavier all-terrain or mud-terrain tires changes the ride. Most larger aftermarket AT/MT tires are 10-ply (Load Range E) versus a typical OEM 6-ply (Load Range C). The stiffer sidewall increases the perception of suspension stiffness often described as ride harshness, and ride, handling, traction, noise, fuel economy, and wear differ meaningfully between All-Season, All-Terrain, Mud-Terrain, and Trail-Terrain tires. Tire and wheel choice will have a real impact on how the lifted truck drives — factor it in.
Installation Notes
Skill level: Intermediate — a complete bolt-on system with no cutting, welding, or structural modification, and no UCA or diff drop work. Estimated install time is roughly 4 hours (±0.5 hr), excluding alignment and wheel/tire assembly. Professional installation recommended for the alignment-critical final step.
Tools required: Standard hand and socket tools, torque wrench, spring compressor as needed for the strut extension. Alignment shop access required after installation.
Post-installation alignment is mandatory. A professional 4-wheel alignment is required to verify torque specs, confirm ride height, and lock in the corrected geometry.
TSS/ADAS and headlamp recalibration. Toyota Safety Sense (Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, automatic high beams) and headlamp aim must be checked and recalibrated after installation — the lift alters camera, radar, and headlamp angles.

Common Questions
How do I know if my Tacoma has rear coil or leaf springs?
The new Tacoma ships with one or the other depending on trim, and this kit fits factory rear coil models only. If you're not certain, check under the bed at the rear axle — coils look like springs around the shock area, leaf packs are stacked flat bars. Text (469) 407-7538 with your trim and we'll confirm before you order.
What's the difference between this 2.5" kit and the 3" SST kit?
The 2.5" (69-54250) is the economical, spacer-and-extension kit — no upper control arms, no differential drop, quicker install. The 3" (69-54300) adds tubular UCAs with a high-angle ball joint and a full diff drop for corrected geometry at the taller height. If you want the simplest path to a level stance and up to a 285/75R17, this is it; if you're going taller or more aggressive, look at the 3".
Will it fit my TRD Pro or Trailhunter?
No. TRD Pro and Trailhunter use different factory suspension and are excluded, along with any model with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS).
I have the disconnecting sway bar — is that a problem?
Possibly. ReadyLIFT has not tested or confirmed fitment with the optional factory sway bar disconnect, so we can't call it verified. Confirm your options before ordering and we'll help you sort it — text (469) 407-7538.
Do I need an alignment and ADAS recalibration afterward?
Both. A 4-wheel alignment is mandatory, and Toyota Safety Sense plus headlamp aim must be recalibrated because the lift changes camera, radar, and light angles.
The Obsidian Take
The 69-54250 is ReadyLIFT's entry-tier 2.5" SST kit for the 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma — 2.5" of front lift from fabricated steel upper strut extensions and billet preload spacers, 1.0" of rear from a coil spacer. It's the economical, hand-tool bolt-on for owners who want a level stance and up to a 285/75R17 without stepping up to a full geometry-correction system.
The value case is the point of this kit. It skips the upper control arms and differential drop of the 3" SST, which keeps both the price and the install time down — roughly four hours excluding alignment. For a moderate lift that clears a 285/75R17 with no trimming and holds the factory ride, that's the right amount of hardware and no more.
Know what you're not getting. There are no UCAs and no diff drop here, so if you're planning a taller or more aggressive build where CV angles and ball joint geometry need correcting, the 3" SST (69-54300) is the kit to look at instead. For a clean 2.5"/1.0" stance on a daily-driven Tacoma, this one does exactly what it should.
The fitment line to get right is the rear spring type. This is a factory-rear-coil kit — leaf-spring Tacomas don't fit, and TRD Pro, Trailhunter, and AVS are out. If your truck has the optional sway bar disconnect, treat fitment as unverified until confirmed.
This SKU is for: 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma owners on factory rear coil springs who want an economical, level 2.5"/1.0" bolt-on lift, room for up to a 285/75R17 with no trimming, factory ride quality preserved, and a quick install without UCA or diff drop complexity.
This SKU is NOT for: leaf-spring Tacomas, TRD Pro or Trailhunter owners, AVS-equipped trucks, anyone who needs corrected UCA/diff-drop geometry for a taller lift, or anyone planning to skip the post-install alignment and TSS/ADAS recalibration. Sway bar disconnect fitment is unverified — confirm first.
