JKS J-Konnect 3.5" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.5 Elite | 2020–2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door EcoDiesel

Is This for You?

You're running a JL 4-Door EcoDiesel and you want the top-spec Fox shock in the J-Konnect 3.5" long-arm lineup. The JSPEC159PES delivers JKS long-arm geometry with Fox 2.5 Elite DSC reservoir shocks, engineered specifically for the EcoDiesel's heavier front end. Driver-adjustable compression lets you compensate for the diesel's front-end mass on the fly — firm it up for highway stability under diesel torque loads, open it up for trail compliance. This is the highest-performing shock configuration in the J-Konnect 3.5" EcoDiesel lineup.

The Result

3.5" of lift with JKS long-arm caster and pinion correction calibrated for the EcoDiesel's front-end weight. Fox 2.5 Elite DSC shocks give you real-time compression adjustment to manage the diesel's heavier front-end dynamics on both trail and highway. Adjustable upper and lower control arms allow precise alignment post-install. The EcoDiesel's heavier platform benefits more from the DSC's adjustment range than a gas JL — the ability to tune compression for the diesel's specific weight distribution is a meaningful advantage on this platform.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)

  • Fits: 2020–2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door (Unlimited) — 3.0L EcoDiesel ONLY
  • Does NOT fit: JL Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L) | JL 4xe Hybrid | JL 2-Door | 2025–2026 JL (EcoDiesel not offered) | JK (any year)

System Specifications

  • Lift Height: 3.5"
  • System: J-Konnect Long-Arm (EcoDiesel-specific coil rate)
  • Shock: Fox 2.5 Elite w/ DSC (Dual Speed Compression) Reservoir
  • Coil Rate: Heavy-duty — engineered for EcoDiesel front-end mass
  • Control Arms: JKS adjustable upper and lower long-arm (front and rear)
  • SKU: JSPEC159PES

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Long-arm geometry requires a front differential drop or relocation bracket (included or specified in kit). Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm DSC adjuster knob placement for driver accessibility during install. Verify Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against diesel-specific underbody components and skid plates. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door EcoDiesel applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The EcoDiesel's heavier front end affects fender clearance differently than the gas JL — confirm tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection.

Engineering Question

Pairing Fox 2.5 Elite DSC with the J-Konnect 3.5" long-arm on an EcoDiesel JL 4-Door — what DSC high-speed compression baseline should you start with to account for the 3.0L diesel's additional front-end mass compared to the gas JL at the same lift height? The EcoDiesel's heavier front end means the high-speed compression circuit needs more damping force per obstacle than on a gas JL. Starting with the DSC set too soft for the diesel's weight will result in excessive nose dive on braking and front-end wallow on trail. Contact OFAS with your EcoDiesel's total front-end weight and primary terrain and we'll give you a DSC baseline starting position calibrated specifically for the diesel's front-end dynamics at 3.5" of long-arm lift.
