It's the base-shock configuration of the J-Konnect 3.5" EcoDiesel lineup — proven long-arm geometry correction, functional damping, and a clear upgrade path when you're ready to step up to Fox.
The Result
3.5" of lift with JKS long-arm caster and pinion correction calibrated for the EcoDiesel's front-end weight. J-Spec monotube shocks provide a functional, predictable damping baseline that outperforms factory units under the diesel's heavier front-end load. Adjustable upper and lower control arms allow precise alignment post-install. The platform is shock-upgrade-ready when you're ready to step up to Fox 2.0 Performance or Fox 2.5 Elite.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
Long-arm geometry requires a front differential drop or relocation bracket (included or specified in kit). Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door EcoDiesel applications. Shock upgrade path (Fox 2.0 Performance, Fox 2.5 Elite) is compatible with this control arm platform — confirm eye-to-eye length with OFAS before purchasing replacement shocks, as EcoDiesel shock travel specs may differ from gas JL variants.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The EcoDiesel's heavier front end affects fender clearance differently than the gas JL — confirm tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection.

The EcoDiesel's heavier front end increases the static and dynamic load on the front shocks, which means the J-Spec monotube reaches its performance ceiling faster on the diesel than on a gas JL under the same terrain conditions. For daily driving and moderate trail use, the J-Spec is a functional starting point.
