JKS J-Venture 3.5" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.5 | 2020–2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door EcoDiesel

Is This for You?

You're running a JL 4-Door EcoDiesel and you want 3.5" of lift with Fox 2.5 reservoir damping on the J-Venture short-arm platform — without the complexity of a long-arm conversion. The JSPEC158PS delivers JKS J-Venture geometry-corrected control arms with Fox 2.5 Performance Series reservoir shocks, engineered specifically for the EcoDiesel's heavier front end. The 3.0L V6 diesel adds significant mass over the front axle — this kit's coil rate is calibrated for that weight. No differential drop required.

The Result

3.5" of lift with JKS J-Venture geometry correction calibrated for the EcoDiesel's front-end weight. Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks deliver consistent damping and heat dissipation on extended trail runs under the diesel's heavier front-end load. Adjustable control arms allow precise alignment post-install. The J-Venture's short-arm install simplicity is a meaningful advantage on the EcoDiesel platform, which has additional underbody complexity compared to the gas JL.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)

  • Fits: 2020–2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door (Unlimited) — 3.0L EcoDiesel ONLY
  • Does NOT fit: JL Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L) | JL 4xe Hybrid | JL 2-Door | 2025–2026 JL (EcoDiesel not offered) | JK (any year)
  • Engine Note: EcoDiesel was available in the JL 4-Door from 2020–2024 only. Confirm your engine code before ordering.

System Specifications

  • Lift Height: 3.5"
  • System: J-Venture Short-Arm (EcoDiesel-specific coil rate)
  • Shock: Fox 2.5 Performance Series w/ Reservoir
  • Coil Rate: Heavy-duty — engineered for EcoDiesel front-end mass
  • Control Arms: JKS J-Venture geometry-corrected short-arm control arms
  • SKU: JSPEC158PS

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Short-arm system does not require differential drop or relocation. Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against diesel-specific underbody components and skid plates. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door EcoDiesel applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The EcoDiesel's heavier front end affects fender clearance differently than the gas JL — confirm tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection.

Engineering Question

Choosing between the J-Venture short-arm and J-Konnect long-arm at 3.5" of lift for an EcoDiesel JL 4-Door with Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks — does the EcoDiesel's heavier front end make the long-arm's superior caster correction more valuable on the diesel platform than it would be on a gas JL? Yes — the EcoDiesel's additional front-end mass amplifies the effects of caster error at 3.5" of lift, which means the J-Konnect's long-arm geometry correction delivers a more noticeable improvement in steering feel and highway stability on the diesel than on the lighter gas JL. If your EcoDiesel sees regular highway miles and trail use, the J-Konnect long-arm is the better long-term platform. Contact OFAS with your build priorities and we'll confirm which system is the right call for your specific EcoDiesel JL 4-Door.
