JKS J-Konnect 3" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.0 Performance | Standard-Rate Coils | 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door

Is This for You?

You're running a stock-weight JL 2-Door and you want 3" of lift with the J-Konnect long-arm geometry and proven Fox damping at a value-forward price point. The JSPEC145KFP pairs JKS long-arm control arms with Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks and standard-rate coil springs. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and trail compliance for stock-weight builds, and the Fox 2.0 Performance delivers consistent, predictable damping for moderate trail use and daily driving. The JL 2-Door's lighter weight makes it a well-matched platform for the 2.0 Performance's thermal capacity on moderate terrain.

The Result

3" of lift with JKS long-arm caster and pinion correction. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and trail compliance for stock-weight builds. Fox 2.0 Performance shocks deliver reliable, consistent damping for moderate trail use and daily driving. Adjustable upper and lower control arms allow precise alignment post-install.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)

  • Fits: 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door — Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L), Stock-Weight Configuration
  • Does NOT fit: JL 4-Door (Unlimited) | JL EcoDiesel | JL 4xe Hybrid | JK (any year) | Gladiator JT
  • Coil Note: Standard-Rate — NOT recommended for builds with steel bumpers, winch, or heavy roof rack. Use JSPEC146KFP (HD coils) for accessorized builds.

System Specifications

  • Lift Height: 3"
  • System: J-Konnect Long-Arm
  • Shock: Fox 2.0 Performance Series (non-reservoir)
  • Coil Rate: Standard-Rate — optimized for stock-weight JL 2-Door builds
  • Control Arms: JKS adjustable upper and lower long-arm (front and rear)
  • SKU: JSPEC145KFP

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Long-arm geometry requires a front differential drop or relocation bracket (included or specified in kit). Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 2-Door gas applications. For extended technical trail use, consider upgrading to the Fox 2.5 Elite DSC variant (JSPEC145PES) for improved heat management and on-the-fly adjustment.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Optimized for 35" tires on a stock-weight build. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS.

Engineering Question

Running Fox 2.0 non-reservoir shocks with standard-rate coils on a J-Konnect 3" long-arm stock-weight JL 2-Door — how does the combination of long-arm geometry's increased droop travel and standard-rate coils' softer spring rate affect the 2.0 Performance's shock travel utilization compared to the same shock on a short-arm system with HD coils at the same lift height? Long-arm geometry allows more droop travel than short-arm, and standard-rate coils allow more droop than HD coils — both factors increase the shock's range of motion per obstacle. More travel range means the 2.0 Performance is working harder per trail mile than it would be on a short-arm HD-coil build. For moderate trail days on a stock-weight JL 2-Door, the 2.0 Performance is adequate. Contact OFAS with your terrain profile and we'll confirm whether the Fox 2.5 Elite step-up is warranted for your specific build.
