JKS J-Venture 3" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.5 | Standard-Rate Coils | 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door
Is This for You?
You're running a stock-weight JL 2-Door and you want 3" of lift with the J-Venture short-arm platform and Fox 2.5 reservoir damping. The JSPEC132PS delivers JKS J-Venture geometry-corrected control arms with Fox 2.5 Performance Series reservoir shocks and standard-rate coil springs. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and trail compliance for stock-weight builds. No differential drop required, no fabrication.
The Result
3" of lift with JKS J-Venture geometry correction. Standard-rate coils deliver a softer initial spring feel and greater droop travel compared to HD coils — maximizing articulation for stock-weight builds. Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks deliver consistent damping and heat dissipation on extended trail runs. Adjustable control arms allow precise alignment post-install. No differential drop required.
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Fits: 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door — Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L), Stock-Weight Configuration
- Does NOT fit: JL 4-Door (Unlimited) | JL EcoDiesel | JL 4xe Hybrid | JK (any year) | Gladiator JT
- Coil Note: Standard-Rate — NOT recommended for builds with steel bumpers, winch, or heavy roof rack. Use JSPEC133PS (HD coils) for accessorized builds.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
Short-arm system does not require differential drop or relocation. Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against skid plates and body panels. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 2-Door gas applications.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Optimized for 35" tires on a stock-weight build. Recommended backspacing: 4.0"–4.5" on a 17"×9" or 17"×8" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS. The JL 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width at 3" of lift — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.
Engineering Question
Comparing the J-Venture 3" standard-rate short-arm on a stock-weight JL 2-Door versus the J-Konnect 3" standard-rate long-arm on the same platform — both run Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks and standard-rate coils, so what's the practical geometry difference between the two systems at this lift height on the JL 2-Door? The J-Konnect's long-arm geometry delivers superior caster correction and articulation, but requires a differential drop and more complex install. The J-Venture corrects geometry without the long-arm conversion complexity. For a stock-weight JL 2-Door that sees moderate trails and daily driving, the J-Venture is a capable, clean solution. Contact OFAS with your trail intensity and build goals and we'll confirm which system is the right fit for your specific JL 2-Door build.
