JKS J-Venture 3" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.5 Elite DSC | Standard-Rate Coils | 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door

Is This for You?

You're running a stock-weight JL 2-Door and you want the top-spec Fox shock in the J-Venture 3" standard-rate lineup. The JSPEC132PES delivers JKS J-Venture geometry-corrected control arms with Fox 2.5 Elite DSC reservoir shocks and standard-rate coil springs. Driver-adjustable compression lets you dial in the shock for trail compliance or highway stability, while the standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and articulation for stock-weight builds. No differential drop required. This is the highest-performing shock configuration in the J-Venture 3" standard-rate JL 2-Door lineup.

The Result

3" of lift with JKS J-Venture geometry correction. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and trail compliance for stock-weight builds. Fox 2.5 Elite DSC shocks give you on-the-fly compression adjustment — open it up for trail compliance, firm it up for highway stability. Adjustable control arms allow precise alignment post-install. No differential drop required.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)

  • Fits: 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door — Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L), Stock-Weight Configuration
  • Does NOT fit: JL 4-Door (Unlimited) | JL EcoDiesel | JL 4xe Hybrid | JK (any year) | Gladiator JT
  • Coil Note: Standard-Rate — NOT recommended for builds with steel bumpers, winch, or heavy roof rack. Use JSPEC133PES (HD coils) for accessorized builds.

System Specifications

  • Lift Height: 3"
  • System: J-Venture Short-Arm
  • Shock: Fox 2.5 Elite w/ DSC (Dual Speed Compression) Reservoir
  • Coil Rate: Standard-Rate — optimized for stock-weight JL 2-Door builds
  • Control Arms: JKS J-Venture geometry-corrected short-arm control arms
  • SKU: JSPEC132PES

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Short-arm system does not require differential drop or relocation. Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm DSC adjuster knob placement for driver accessibility during install. Verify Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against skid plates and body panels. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 2-Door gas applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Optimized for 35" tires on a stock-weight build. Recommended backspacing: 4.0"–4.5" on a 17"×9" or 17"×8" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS. The JL 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width at 3" of lift — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.

Engineering Question

Running Fox 2.5 Elite DSC with standard-rate coils on a J-Venture 3" short-arm stock-weight JL 2-Door — how does the short-arm geometry's different chassis pitch behavior affect the optimal DSC low-speed compression baseline compared to a J-Konnect 3" long-arm at the same lift height and coil rate on the same stock-weight JL 2-Door? Short-arm geometry produces different chassis pitch dynamics than long-arm at the same lift height — the control arm travel arc is different, which changes how the chassis pitches over trail obstacles. The DSC low-speed baseline that works on a J-Konnect long-arm may not be optimal on a J-Venture short-arm at the same lift height and coil rate. Contact OFAS with your terrain type and we'll give you a DSC starting position calibrated specifically for the J-Venture short-arm geometry on a stock-weight JL 2-Door at 3" of lift.
