JKS J-Krawl 3.5" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.5 | Standard-Rate Coils | 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door

Is This for You?

You're building a dedicated crawler on a stock-weight JL 4-Door Unlimited and you want 3.5" of lift with the J-Krawl system and Fox 2.5 reservoir damping. The JSPEC127PS delivers JKS J-Krawl crawler geometry with Fox 2.5 Performance Series reservoir shocks and standard-rate coil springs. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and articulation compliance for stock-weight builds, and the J-Krawl's crawler-specific geometry delivers maximum articulation for technical terrain on the JL 4-Door platform.

The Result

3.5" of lift with JKS J-Krawl crawler geometry — engineered for maximum droop travel and articulation on technical terrain. Standard-rate coils deliver greater droop travel and articulation compliance than HD coils for stock-weight builds. Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks deliver consistent damping and heat dissipation on extended trail runs. The JL 4-Door's longer wheelbase provides a stable platform for the J-Krawl's articulation-focused design at 3.5" of lift.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)

  • Fits: 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door (Unlimited) — Gas Models (2.0T, 3.6L), Stock-Weight Configuration
  • Does NOT fit: JL 2-Door | JL EcoDiesel | JL 4xe Hybrid | JK (any year) | Gladiator JT
  • Coil Note: Standard-Rate — NOT recommended for builds with steel bumpers, winch, or heavy rock rails. Use JSPEC128PS (HD coils) for accessorized builds.

System Specifications

  • Lift Height: 3.5"
  • System: J-Krawl (crawler-specific geometry, maximum articulation)
  • Shock: Fox 2.5 Performance Series w/ Reservoir
  • Coil Rate: Standard-Rate — optimized for stock-weight JL 4-Door crawler builds
  • Control Arms: JKS J-Krawl geometry-corrected control arms
  • SKU: JSPEC127PS

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against skid plates and rock rails. The J-Krawl system is designed for locker-equipped builds — confirm front and rear locker compatibility with OFAS before finalizing your build spec. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door gas applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 37" tires on a stock-weight crawler build. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS. Contact OFAS for 40" tire clearance confirmation.

Engineering Question

Choosing between JSPEC127PS (standard-rate coils) and JSPEC128PS (HD coils) for a J-Krawl 3.5" JL 4-Door crawler build with Fox 2.5 reservoir shocks — if the build is stock-weight with no steel bumpers, which coil rate delivers more articulation compliance on slow rock sections? Standard-rate coils allow more droop travel and lower initial spring resistance, which translates directly to more tire contact on uneven terrain at slow crawler speeds. If your JL 4-Door is stock-weight and you're not planning to add heavy accessories, the JSPEC127PS standard-rate coils will deliver more articulation compliance than the HD coils. Contact OFAS with your full build spec and we'll confirm which coil rate is the right call for your specific JL 4-Door crawler configuration.
