JKS J-Konnect 2.5" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.0 Performance | Standard-Rate Coils | 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door
Is This for You?
You want the J-Konnect long-arm geometry on your stock-weight JL 4-Door Unlimited at 2.5" of lift, and you want a Fox shock without the reservoir price premium. The JSPEC121KFP pairs JKS long-arm control arms with Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks and standard-rate coil springs. It's the most accessible Fox-equipped configuration in the J-Konnect 2.5" standard-rate lineup — delivering proven geometry correction and reliable damping for stock-weight builds on moderate terrain.
The Result
2.5" of lift with long-arm caster and pinion correction. Standard-rate coils maximize droop travel and trail compliance for stock-weight builds. Fox 2.0 Performance shocks deliver consistent, predictable damping for daily driving and moderate trail use. Adjustable upper and lower control arms allow precise alignment post-install. Axle wrap is eliminated and on-road composure is maintained at highway speeds.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
Long-arm geometry requires a front differential drop or relocation bracket (included or specified in kit). Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door gas applications. For extended technical trail use, consider upgrading to the Fox 2.5 reservoir variant (JSPEC121PS) for improved heat management.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Optimized for 35" tires on a stock-weight build. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS.
Engineering Question
Wondering if the Fox 2.0 non-reservoir shock is the right call for a J-Konnect 2.5" std-rate build on a stock-weight JL 4-Door that sees mostly weekend trail use? For half-day trail runs on moderate terrain, the 2.0 Performance holds up well. Where it starts to show its limits is on back-to-back technical days where heat cycles accumulate in the shock body. If your trail days run long or your terrain is aggressive, contact OFAS — we'll tell you whether the 2.5 reservoir is worth the step-up for your specific use case.
