The JSPEC119KFP pairs JKS geometry-corrected short-arm control arms with Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks and standard-rate coil springs. It's the most accessible Fox-equipped configuration in the J-Venture 3.5" standard-rate lineup.

Installation & Fabrication Notes

Short-arm system does not require differential drop or relocation. Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door gas applications. For extended technical trail use, consider upgrading to the Fox 2.5 reservoir variant (JSPEC119PS) for improved heat management.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Optimized for 35"–37" tires on a stock-weight build. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. Standard-rate coils are not recommended for tire sizes exceeding 37" without load confirmation from OFAS.

Engineering Question

Running the Fox 2.0 non-reservoir on a J-Venture 3.5" std-rate build — how does the shock body temperature behave when you're running 37" tires on a stock-weight JL 4-Door through a full day of moderate trails? The 2.0 Performance handles the load well at stock weight, but 37" tires increase unsprung mass and put more demand on the shock body over sustained use.
