Installation & Fabrication Notes

Short-arm system does not require differential drop or relocation. Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm DSC adjuster knob placement for driver accessibility during install. Verify Fox 2.5 reservoir clearance against skid plates and rock rails. No cutting or welding required for standard JL 4-Door gas applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35" tires on an accessorized build. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. At 2.5" of lift, fender clearance with 35s is tight — confirm tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection. 37" tires are not recommended at this lift height without fender modification.

Pairing Fox 2.5 Elite DSC with HD coils at 2.5" of lift on a fully loaded JL 4-Door — does the DSC adjustment range give you meaningful differentiation between a slow rock crawl setting and a highway tow setting?
