The Result

Long-arm geometry requires a front differential drop or relocation bracket (included or specified in kit). Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Confirm DSC adjuster knob placement for driver accessibility during install. No cutting or welding required for standard JK 4-Door applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. Confirm fender clearance with specific tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection.

Comparing Fox 2.5 Elite DSC tuning on a J-Konnect 3.5" JK 4-Door versus a JK 2-Door — does the 4-Door's longer wheelbase and heavier curb weight require a different DSC baseline setting? Yes — the 4-Door's additional mass and longer wheelbase produce slower chassis pitch cycles but higher sustained shock loads, particularly at the rear. The DSC low-speed circuit baseline that works on a 2-Door will typically be too soft for a loaded 4-Door on the same terrain.
