Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.

Engineering Question

Running Fox 2.0 non-reservoir shocks on a J-Kontrol 3.5" JK 2-Door build — at what point does the 2.0 Performance's lack of a reservoir become a limiting factor on a stock-weight JK 2-Door versus a heavier JK 4-Door at the same lift height? The JK 2-Door's lower curb weight gives the 2.0 Performance more thermal headroom per trail mile than the same shock on a heavier 4-Door.
