Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation using RHD-specific alignment specs. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. No cutting or welding required for standard JK 2-Door RHD applications. For extended technical trail use, consider upgrading to the Fox remote reservoir variant (JSPEC105KFR) for improved heat management.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width at 3.5" of lift — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.

Engineering Question

Running Fox 2.0 non-reservoir shocks on a J-Venture 3.5" RHD JK 2-Door build — does the RHD platform's different weight distribution (heavier steering components on the opposite side) affect the front shock's thermal load compared to the LHD version at the same lift height and coil rate? The RHD steering rack and column add mass to the front axle on the opposite side, which can create a slight left-right weight imbalance that affects front shock loading asymmetrically. For most use cases this is negligible, but on sustained technical terrain it can show up as uneven shock fade between sides.
