Installation & Fabrication Notes

Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. Remote reservoir canister routing must be planned during install — confirm clearance against frame, skid plates, and body panels before finalizing mount locations. No cutting or welding required for standard JK 2-Door LHD applications.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. At 2.5" of lift, fender clearance with 35s is tight on the JK 2-Door — confirm tire brand and tread width before finalizing wheel selection. 37" tires are not recommended at this lift height without fender modification.

Engineering Question

Choosing between the J-Venture 2.5" and J-Venture 3.5" with Fox remote reservoir shocks on a JK 2-Door — if the shock spec is identical, what's the practical difference in trail performance between the two lift heights on the JK 2-Door platform?
