Wheel & Tire Fitment

Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width at 3.5" of lift — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.

Running Fox 2.5 Elite DSC on a J-Venture 3.5" JK 2-Door build with 37" tires — how does the JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase and lighter platform affect the optimal DSC low-speed compression setting compared to a heavier JK 4-Door running the same shock and tire size at the same lift height? The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase produces faster chassis pitch cycles per trail obstacle, which means the DSC low-speed circuit is more active per mile of trail than on the 4-Door.
