JKS J-Venture 3.5" Lift Kit w/ Fox 2.0 Adventure | 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door
Is This for You?
You're building a JK 2-Door and you want 3.5" of lift with the J-Venture geometry correction and Fox 2.0 Adventure IFP shocks — Fox's Internal Floating Piston monotube design that delivers fade-resistant damping consistency over standard twin-tube shocks. The JSPEC101KFA is the mid-tier Fox option in the J-Venture 3.5" JK 2-Door lineup, suited for daily drivers and weekend trail rigs that want proven Fox IFP performance at a moderate price point.
The Result
3.5" of lift with JKS J-Venture geometry correction. Fox 2.0 Adventure IFP shocks deliver consistent, fade-resistant damping across temperature cycles. The IFP design prevents oil aeration under sustained cycling, maintaining a more consistent damping feel across a full trail day compared to a twin-tube shock. Adjustable control arms allow precise alignment post-install.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
Professional 4-wheel alignment required post-installation. Torque all control arm hardware to JKS specification after a 500-mile break-in. The Fox 2.0 Adventure's IFP design is position-sensitive — confirm correct shock orientation during install per Fox installation guidelines. No cutting or welding required for standard JK 2-Door LHD applications.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Engineered for 35"–37" tires. Recommended backspacing: 4.5"–4.75" on a 17"×9" or 18"×9" wheel. The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase makes fender clearance more sensitive to tire width at 3.5" of lift — confirm tread width and brand before finalizing wheel selection.
Engineering Question
Choosing the Fox 2.0 Adventure IFP for a J-Venture 3.5" JK 2-Door build — how does the IFP's aeration resistance specifically benefit the JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase and faster chassis pitch cycle compared to a longer-wheelbase platform running the same shock? The JK 2-Door's shorter wheelbase means the chassis pitches faster over trail obstacles, which drives higher shock cycling frequency per mile of trail. Higher cycling frequency is exactly where IFP aeration resistance pays off — the oil stays separated from the nitrogen gas even under rapid, repeated compression cycles. For a JK 2-Door on technical terrain, the IFP's aeration resistance is more valuable than it would be on a slower-pitching 4-Door platform. Contact OFAS with your terrain type and we'll confirm whether the Adventure IFP or the 2.5 Elite reservoir is the right spec for your specific JK 2-Door build.
