The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Front Shock (SKU 985-24-189) is engineered for 2011–2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks running 1.5" to 3.5" of front lift. 2" impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with a clear-anodized finish — improves heat dissipation over steel-bodied OEM shocks and resists rust. 5/8" hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft. Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates oil and nitrogen gas, eliminating oil aeration to maintain consistent damping through heat cycles during towing, hauling, and rough-road use. Race-developed high-flow damping piston with application-specific valving tuned to the IFS front suspension on this chassis generation. 6.6" IFP travel. Quiet nitrile rubber bushings allow increased suspension articulation. Redundant sealing pack system (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal). Uses factory shock mounts and factory mounting bolts. Sold as a single front shock.
This shock is valved for 1.5"–3.5" of front lift — it is not designed for stock-height applications. For 0–1" of front lift, a different Fox part number is required. This part also does not fit the redesigned 2020+ chassis.
