Installation & Technical Notes

Scope: Direct bolt-in replacement for the factory front driveline — remove the factory front driveline and install the Cognito CV driveline at the factory transfer case and front differential mounting points.
Install Sequence: Install the CV front driveline as part of the lift kit installation, before operating the vehicle in 4WD above 20 mph. Do not drive in 4WD above 20 mph with the factory driveline at 7–9 inches of front lift.
SKU Verification: Confirm you have ordered SKU 210-90863 (7–9-inch) and not SKU 210-90862 (4–6-inch) before installation. The two drivelines are not interchangeable.
Driveline Phasing: Verify driveline phasing is correct after installation — incorrect phasing will produce vibration at speed. Refer to Cognito's included instruction sheet for phasing verification procedure.
Torque Specifications: Torque all driveline mounting fasteners to GM specification. Refer to Cognito's included instruction sheet for all torque values.
