Seven inches of front lift and four inches of rear lift on a 2011–2019 Silverado or Sierra 2500HD/3500HD — the Cognito 7-Inch Elite Lift Kit with Elka 2.5 Remote Reservoir Shocks is the complete K2 generation system that delivers it without guesswork. SM Series Ball Joint Upper Control Arms correct the ball joint angle and improve droop travel. SM Series Compression Struts maintain front suspension geometry at 7 inches. The patented PISK eliminates pitman and idler arm compliance. A Deaver complete replacement leaf spring pack arched for 4 inches of rear lift delivers the rear height without a lift block, eliminating wheel hop and axle wrap. The 1.5-inch 4140 chromoly HD front sway bar controls body roll at the elevated ride height. Stainless steel extended brake lines accommodate the increased suspension travel. And the Elka 2.5 Remote Reservoir compression-adjustable shocks — front and rear — provide the damping performance that a 7-inch lifted K2 2500HD/3500HD demands on road and off. The Deaver pack uses high-quality spring steel with a higher leaf count and thinner individual leaf material for a progressive, compliant ride at the elevated rear ride height.
- Controls body roll at 7 inches of front lift with the Cognito 1.5-inch 4140 chromoly HD front sway bar — heat-treated and hot-formed, with polyurethane bushings and larger sway bar clamps included — and delivers front and rear damping through the Elka 2.5 Remote Reservoir compression-adjustable shocks, which use a rust-resistant metal impact extruded aluminum body with a remote reservoir to eliminate oil aeration and maintain consistent, factory-tuned precision valving performance under sustained on-road and off-road use.
The SM Series Ball Joint UCAs use CNC robot-welded boxed sheet metal construction, semi-gloss black powder coat, and pre-installed ball joints with new crush sleeves and polyurethane bushings. The SM Series Compression Struts maintain the front suspension geometry that the factory struts cannot maintain at 7 inches of lift. The patented Cognito PISK converts the factory single-shear pitman and idler arm mount to a double-shear configuration, eliminating the forward and rearward center link movement that causes steering system compliance and accelerated wear. The Elka 2.5 Remote Reservoir shocks use a rust-resistant metal impact extruded aluminum body with a remote reservoir that maintains a constant oil supply to the piston, preventing oil aeration and fade under sustained use.
