Description
Is This for You?
- You're converting your JT to a long arm rear suspension system and need the frame-side mounting points — these brackets relocate the rear lower control arm pivot point forward on the frame rail to accommodate long arm geometry on 3.5"–6"+ lifts.
- You're a fabricator or shop building a custom long arm JT and need precision-cut brackets that weld directly to the frame — CNC laser-cut and brake-bent from 1/4" high-strength steel with tight tolerances for consistent fitment across JT frame rails.
- You're running Clayton long arm control arms (COR-1910020, COR-1910220) and need the matching frame bracket set — these brackets are the frame-side component of Clayton's JT rear long arm system and are dimensioned to match Clayton's arm pivot geometry.
The Result
- CNC laser-cut and brake-bent 1/4" high-strength steel — precision geometry for consistent weld fitment across JT frame rails without secondary machining.
- Weld-on installation relocates the rear lower control arm pivot forward on the frame rail — provides the correct arm angle and length for long arm geometry at 3.5"–6"+ of lift.
- USA manufacture with hardware included (5/8" x 4.0" bolt kit) — designed as a system component for Clayton's JT rear long arm control arms.
The COR-2210200 rear long arm frame brackets are the frame-side foundation of Clayton's rear long arm suspension conversion for the 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. The brackets are CNC laser-cut and brake-bent from 1/4" high-strength steel — a process that produces tight dimensional tolerances and consistent bend angles across every set, eliminating the fitment variation common in hand-cut or plasma-cut brackets. Installation is weld-on: the factory rear lower control arm brackets must be cut from the frame rail, and these brackets are welded in their place further forward to accommodate the longer arm sweep required by long arm geometry. The forward relocation of the pivot point corrects the arm angle at lift height, reducing pinion angle error and axle walk that occur when OEM-length arms are used at 3.5"+ of lift. The bracket set is dimensioned to match Clayton's JT rear long arm control arms (COR-1910020 Overland+ and COR-1910220 Premium) and their pivot hardware. Includes 5/8" x 4.0" bolt kit. Made in the USA.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
✅ Fits 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT — All Trims — Rear Long Arm Frame Bracket Conversion
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JK (2007–2018) — different frame rail geometry
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JL (2018–2026) — different frame rail geometry
❌ Does NOT bolt on — weld-on installation only; factory brackets must be removed
❌ Not compatible with short arm control arms — long arm pivot geometry only
Installation & Fabrication Notes
- Weld-on installation — professional fabrication required. Factory rear lower control arm brackets must be cut from the frame rail before these brackets can be installed. This is an irreversible modification.
- Clean and prep the frame rail to bare metal in the weld zone before fitting brackets — paint, undercoating, and rust must be removed for full-penetration welds.
- Tack-weld brackets in position and verify alignment and squareness before final welding — bracket angle directly affects arm geometry and pinion angle.
- Full-penetration MIG or TIG welds recommended on all bracket contact surfaces — do not stitch weld only.
- After welding, coat all bare metal surfaces with weld-through primer or chassis paint to prevent corrosion at the weld zone.
- Install Clayton long arm rear lower control arms (COR-1910020 or COR-1910220) after bracket installation — torque pivot hardware to Clayton's specified torque at ride height.
- Rear alignment (toe, thrust angle, pinion angle) must be set after full installation — do not drive without alignment after a long arm conversion.
- Torque 5/8" x 4.0" pivot bolts to specification at ride height, not at full droop.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Frame bracket component — no direct wheel or tire fitment restriction. Compatible with standard JT wheel and tire combinations up to 37" tires when used with Clayton long arm control arms on 3.5"–6"+ lift systems.
Engineering Question: Have you confirmed your fabrication capability for this installation? Cutting factory brackets and welding these in their place is an irreversible frame modification — incorrect bracket placement will result in incorrect arm geometry, pinion angle error, and potential driveline vibration. Verify bracket position with Clayton's installation instructions before final welding.
