The Clayton Off Road Crow's Foot Jam Nut Wrench (COR-2500100) is a purpose-built tool for torquing the 1" jam nuts used on Clayton control arms, track bars, and tie rods. Machined to 1.485" inside width — 0.015" undersized from the nominal 1-1/2" (1.500") wrench spec — for full 6-point contact across all flats of the jam nut, eliminating the corner-loading that rounds hex flats with a standard open-end wrench. Crow's foot design accepts a 1/2" drive ratchet or torque wrench for accurate torque application in confined suspension access areas.
Designed specifically for Clayton Off Road jam nuts. May not engage correctly on non-Clayton 1" jam nuts due to the intentionally undersized bore. Do not use with an impact gun.

Common Questions
Will this work on jam nuts from other brands?
Not guaranteed. Clayton designed the undersized bore specifically around their own jam nut manufacturing tolerances. It may not engage correctly on other brands' 1" jam nuts.
Can I use this with an impact gun?
No. Use only with a 1/2" drive ratchet or torque wrench. Impact torque will damage both the crow's foot and the jam nut.
What if I also have 1-1/4" jam nuts to service?
Clayton makes a separate 1-1/4" crow's foot wrench (1.843" inside width). If you service both sizes regularly, the combined Small and Large set bundles both crow's foot wrenches plus standard wrenches for hard-to-reach spots.
Why not just use a standard 1-1/2" wrench?
The manufacturing tolerance gap between a standard 1.500" wrench and the jam nut allows the wrench to contact only 2 corners under load instead of all 6 flats, concentrating torque and rounding the hex over time. The 0.015" undersized fit eliminates that gap.
