Description
Is This for You?
- You're converting your JL Rubicon 392 to a front long arm suspension system and need the frame-side mounting brackets designed specifically for the 392's modified front frame rails — the 6.4L HEMI V8 required Jeep to heavily modify the front frame rails, engine mounts, and exhaust routing compared to the standard JL. Standard JL front long arm brackets will not fit the 392 frame, and these 392-specific brackets will not fit a standard JL.
- You're a fabricator or shop building a custom long arm front suspension on a 392 and need precision-cut brackets that weld directly to the 392 frame — CNC-cut from 1/4" high-strength steel and shipped raw, ready for welding and finishing to your spec.
- You're running Clayton front long arm control arms on your 392 and need the matching frame bracket set — these brackets are the frame-side component of Clayton's JL 392 front long arm system, dimensioned to match Clayton's arm pivot geometry on the 392 platform.
The Result
- 392-specific front long arm frame brackets — engineered for the modified front frame rail geometry of the 6.4L HEMI JL, not interchangeable with standard JL/JT brackets.
- 1/4" high-strength steel, weld-on, shipped raw — cut factory front control arm brackets off the frame, weld these in their place to relocate the pivot point for long arm geometry.
- Includes 5/8" bolt, washer, and nut hardware — complete hardware kit for pivot installation after bracket welding.
The COR-2209110 front long arm frame brackets are the frame-side foundation of Clayton's front long arm suspension conversion for the 2021–2026 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392. The 392's 6.4L HEMI V8 required significant modifications to the front frame rails, engine mounts, and exhaust routing compared to the standard JL V6, I4 Turbo, and EcoDiesel platforms — these frame differences occur exactly where front long arm brackets mount, making the 392 incompatible with standard JL front long arm brackets and vice versa. The brackets are cut from 1/4" high-strength steel and shipped in raw steel, ready for welding and finishing. Installation requires cutting the factory front lower control arm brackets from the frame rail and welding these brackets in their place to relocate the pivot point forward for long arm geometry. Includes 5/8" bolt, washer, and nut hardware. Control arms are sold separately. Made in the USA.

❌ Does NOT fit 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL V6, I4 Turbo, or EcoDiesel — different front frame rail geometry; standard JL brackets required
❌ Does NOT fit 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT (any engine) — different front frame architecture
❌ Does NOT fit 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK — different platform entirely
❌ Does NOT bolt on — weld-on installation only; factory front control arm brackets must be removed
❌ Control arms not included — sold separately
Installation & Fabrication Notes
- 392-specific — do not attempt to install on a standard JL or JT. The 392 front frame rail geometry is not interchangeable with the standard JL. Verify your vehicle is a 2021–2026 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 before ordering.
- Weld-on installation — professional fabrication required. Factory front lower control arm brackets must be cut from the frame rail before these brackets can be installed. This is an irreversible frame modification.
- Clean and prep the frame rail to bare metal in the weld zone — remove paint, undercoating, and rust for full-penetration welds.
- Tack-weld brackets in position and verify alignment and squareness before final welding — bracket angle directly affects arm geometry and caster.
- Full-penetration MIG or TIG welds recommended on all bracket contact surfaces.
- After welding, coat all bare metal surfaces with weld-through primer or chassis paint to prevent corrosion at the weld zone.
- Install Clayton front long arm control arms after bracket installation — torque 5/8" pivot hardware to Clayton's specified torque at ride height.
- Front alignment (caster, camber, toe) must be set after full installation — do not drive without alignment after a long arm conversion.
- On 392 models with ADAS: recalibrate front camera and radar sensors per Jeep service procedure after any suspension geometry change.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Frame bracket component — no direct wheel or tire fitment restriction. Compatible with standard 392 wheel and tire combinations when used with Clayton front long arm control arms on appropriate lift systems.
Engineering Question: Have you confirmed your vehicle is a 2021–2026 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 with the 6.4L HEMI V8? This bracket is not compatible with any other JL or JT configuration. Also confirm your fabrication capability — cutting factory brackets and welding these in their place is an irreversible frame modification that requires professional welding equipment and experience.
