Description
Is This for You?
- You're installing a drag link flip on your JK and need the passenger side upper knuckle bushing that accepts the right-hand drive drag link — the factory JK passenger side upper knuckle is not drilled for a drag link mount; this CNC-machined bushing presses into the knuckle after drilling to 7/8", providing the correct bore and seat geometry for the RHD drag link end.
- You're building the complete Clayton JK drag link flip system and need all three components — this bushing works in conjunction with the Clayton RHD drag link and the COR-5208110 track bar bracket. All three are required for the drag link flip to function correctly.
- You want a precision-machined, corrosion-resistant bushing that won't move in the knuckle bore — CNC machined from steel and gold zinc plated, this bushing is dimensioned for a press fit in the 7/8" drilled knuckle bore with no slop or movement after installation.
The Result
- CNC-machined steel bushing, gold zinc plated — precision bore geometry for a press fit in the 7/8" drilled passenger side upper knuckle, providing the correct drag link mount seat for the RHD drag link end.
- Enables right-hand drive drag link installation — the bushing converts the passenger side upper knuckle from a non-drilled surface to a properly seated drag link mount point.
- Part of the complete Clayton JK drag link flip system — requires COR-5208110 track bar bracket and the Clayton RHD drag link to complete the geometry correction.
The COR-5208210 is the passenger side upper knuckle bushing for Clayton Off Road's JK drag link flip high steer correction system. The factory 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK uses a left-hand drive drag link configuration where the drag link mounts to the driver side of the steering system. A drag link flip converts the system to a right-hand drive configuration, moving the drag link mount to the passenger side upper knuckle — but the factory passenger side upper knuckle is not drilled for a drag link mount. This bushing is the interface component: the knuckle is drilled to 7/8" at the passenger side upper mount location, and this CNC-machined steel bushing is pressed into the drilled bore to provide the correct seat geometry for the RHD drag link end. The bushing is machined from steel and gold zinc plated for corrosion resistance. This bushing alone does not complete the drag link flip — it must be used with the Clayton RHD drag link and the COR-5208110 track bar bracket (which raises the track bar mount and corrects track bar geometry at the same time). All three components are required for the system to function correctly.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
✅ Fits 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK (2-Door and 4-Door) — All Trims — Passenger Side Upper Knuckle, Drag Link Flip Application
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JL (2018–2026) — different front knuckle geometry
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Gladiator JT (2020–2026) — different front knuckle geometry
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ (1997–2006) — different front knuckle architecture
❌ This bushing alone does not complete the drag link flip — requires Clayton RHD drag link and COR-5208110 track bar bracket
❌ Not for use without drilling the knuckle to 7/8" — bushing will not seat correctly in an undrilled or undersized bore
Installation & Fabrication Notes
- Drill the passenger side upper knuckle to exactly 7/8" before pressing in the bushing. An undersized bore will prevent the bushing from seating; an oversized bore will result in a loose fit and bushing movement under steering load.
- Use a drill press or step drill with a guide for a straight, on-axis bore — an angled bore will misalign the drag link end and cause binding through the steering sweep.
- Press the bushing into the drilled bore using a press or appropriate driver — do not hammer the bushing in without a driver; uneven force will distort the bushing bore.
- Verify the bushing is fully seated and flush with the knuckle surface before installing the drag link end.
- Install the Clayton RHD drag link end into the bushing and torque to specification.
- Install COR-5208110 track bar bracket to correct track bar geometry at the same time — the drag link flip without the track bar correction will not fully resolve steering geometry issues at lift.
- Front alignment (caster, toe) must be set after full drag link flip installation.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Steering component — no direct wheel or tire fitment restriction. Drag link flip geometry correction affects steering feel and tire wear — verify front alignment after installation with your specific tire size and lift height.
Engineering Question: Do you have all three components required for the Clayton JK drag link flip system? This bushing requires the Clayton RHD drag link and COR-5208110 track bar bracket to function correctly — installing the bushing without the companion parts will not correct your steering geometry. Also confirm you have a 7/8" drill bit and the means to press the bushing into the knuckle bore before ordering.
