It is designed for use with Clayton Off Road's 3.5" and 4.5" JK lift kits. Non-Clayton lifts at these heights may also benefit from this correction — verify geometry compatibility before ordering.

Phase 1 — Bolt-in (can be performed in driveway):

  1. Confirm all three system components are in hand: COR-5208110 (this kit), COR-5208210 bushing, Clayton RHD drag link.
  2. Install bracket at factory axle bracket location using the included 3× 3/8" bolts and 1× 9/16" bolt with spacer. Verify all bolts are fully seated and snug.
  3. Install the raised stabilizer mount to your steering stabilizer.
  4. Note the relocated lower sway bar mount position — verify end link length before driving.
  5. Drive immediately to a certified welder. Do not use this as a completed installation.

Phase 2 — Weld-out (certified welder required):

  1. Weld both sides of the bracket to the front axle tube — full-penetration welds on all bracket-to-axle contact surfaces. No stitch welds on load-bearing joints.
  2. Allow welds to cool completely before handling.

What is the drag link flip and why does my lifted JK need it?
At factory ride height, the JK's drag link and tie rod run roughly parallel — the correct geometry for predictable, bump-steer-free steering. When you lift the JK 3.5"–4.5", the drag link drops relative to the tie rod and the two links no longer run at the same angle. The result is bump steer — the steering turns slightly every time the suspension compresses or droop — and in severe cases, death wobble triggered by that bump steer. The drag link flip moves the drag link mount point above the tie rod, restoring parallel geometry. COR-5208110's track bar bracket simultaneously corrects track bar angle and clears the differential cover — both issues are addressed in one installation.

Can I drive it after bolt-in without welding?
Temporarily, to reach a welder. The bracket bolt-in is specifically designed to allow the vehicle to be driven from the installation point to a certified welding shop. It is not a finished installation state and is not intended for normal use. Drive directly to the welder.

Do I need an adjustable track bar?
In practical terms, yes. The bracket raises the track bar mount point. The factory track bar is a fixed length calibrated for the original mount height — at the raised position, the factory track bar will leave the front axle offset to one side. This produces handling pull and uneven tire wear. An adjustable front track bar lets you re-center the axle at the new mount height. Clayton's language is "strongly recommended" — treat it as required for a correctly finished installation.

Does this kit work with non-Clayton lift kits?
The geometry correction is designed and validated for Clayton's 3.5" and 4.5" lift systems.
