Fitment, Shipping & Product Support

Verified Fitment

This front track bar fits the 2018 through 2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and the 2020 through 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT — all configurations, all trims. It is designed for JL and JT builds with 0" to 6" of front lift.

Year Range Make Model Configuration Front Lift Range Notes
2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-Door 0"–6" front lift 100% bolt-on
2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door 0"–6" front lift 100% bolt-on
2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT All configurations 0"–6" front lift 100% bolt-on

What this corrects: When the front of the JL or JT is lifted, the front axle shifts laterally off-center — the factory track bar holds the axle at a position calibrated for stock ride height. This adjustable front track bar corrects axle centering by threading to the correct length for your front lift height, re-centering the front axle and restoring correct steering geometry.

Does NOT Fit

Exclusion Reason
Jeep Wrangler JK (2007–2018) Different front track bar geometry — JK-specific front track bar required
Jeep Wrangler TJ / LJ (1997–2006) Different front suspension architecture
Jeep Grand Cherokee (all generations) Different front suspension architecture
Jeep Cherokee XJ Different front suspension architecture
JL or JT builds with more than 6" of front lift This bar's adjustment range is confirmed for 0"–6" of front lift. Lifts above 6" may exceed the bar's adjustment range for correct axle centering. Text (469) 407-7538 to confirm for your specific lift height.
Buyers who install without setting bar length first Bar length must be set to the correct specification for your front lift height before installation. Installing at factory length on a lifted truck leaves the axle off-center.

Critical Compatibility

Condition Interaction Action Required
Front axle centering — set to lift height Bar length must be adjusted to the correct specification for your front lift height. The factory front track bar is fixed-length and calibrated for stock ride height — after a front lift, it holds the axle off-center. Installing this bar at the wrong length still leaves the axle off-center. Confirm front lift height and set bar to the correct length before installation. Text (469) 407-7538 to confirm the correct length setting.
6" maximum front lift — confirmed range Adjustment range is confirmed for 0"–6" of front lift. Lifts above 6" may exceed the bar's usable adjustment range for correct axle centering. Confirm front lift height is 6" or less before ordering. Text (469) 407-7538 for lifts above 6".
Dual FK heim joints — both ends Both frame and axle end joints are FK heim type. This provides angular articulation at both mount points through the full front suspension travel arc. Inspect both joints periodically for wear or looseness. Unlike rubber bushing ends that compress and self-center, heim joints do not — length must be set precisely. No action required at installation beyond correct length setting. Inspect both FK heim joints on regular service schedule.
Hex body — in-vehicle adjustment Right-hand threaded hex body allows length adjustment with a wrench applied to any flat on the hex body without removing the bar from the vehicle. Loosen mounting hardware, apply wrench to hex body, rotate to correct length, retorque.
Front alignment after installation Installing an adjustable front track bar changes the front axle's lateral position. A full front alignment (caster, toe, thrust angle) is recommended after installation. Schedule front alignment after installation.
COR-4509110 rear counterpart If both front and rear of the JL are lifted, both front (this bar) and rear (COR-4509110) track bars may be needed to correctly center both axles. Installing front-only while leaving the rear factory bar may produce an off-center rear axle. If rear lift exceeds 0", also order COR-4509110 for the rear axle.

Installation Notes

Skill level: Intermediate. True bolt-on — no welding, drilling, or fabrication required. Set bar length before installation.

Step 1 — Set bar length:

  1. Confirm front lift height.
  2. Set bar to the correct length for your lift height by rotating the hex body. Text (469) 407-7538 with your front lift height for the correct length setting.

Step 2 — Installation:

  1. Remove the factory front track bar.
  2. Install COR-4509100 in the factory front track bar mounting positions — bolt-on, no modification required.
  3. Torque all mounting hardware at ride height — not at full droop or compression.

Step 3 — Verification:

  1. Verify front axle is centered laterally — measure distance from axle tube to chassis reference points on both sides to confirm equal offset.
  2. Schedule front alignment after installation.

Required tools:

Tool Required
Standard socket and wrench set Yes
Torque wrench Yes
Measuring tape (for axle centering verification) Recommended

Common Questions

Why does my lifted JL or JT need an adjustable front track bar?
The front track bar holds the front axle in its lateral position relative to the chassis. The factory bar is a fixed length calibrated for stock ride height. When the front of the JL or JT is lifted, the axle drops relative to the chassis and the factory bar pulls the axle laterally off-center. An off-center front axle produces uneven tire clearance left-to-right, can cause the steering wheel to be off-center at straight ahead, and produces handling that pulls slightly to one side. An adjustable front track bar corrects the axle lateral position for the lifted geometry.

What is the dual FK heim joint design and why does it matter?
Most adjustable track bars use a heim joint at one end and a rubber bushing at the other. This bar uses FK heim joints at both the frame end and the axle end. Both ends provide angular articulation through the full front suspension travel arc — neither end is limited by rubber bushing compliance or wear. The tradeoff compared to a rubber bushing end is that FK heim joints must be inspected periodically for wear, and the length must be set precisely since heims do not self-center under compression the way rubber bushings do.

What is the hex body and why does it simplify adjustment?
The bar body is machined with a right-hand threaded hex profile — a six-sided shape that a standard wrench can grip at any flat. To change the bar length, apply a wrench to any flat on the hex body and rotate. No need to remove the bar from the vehicle, no special tools required. Most round-bodied adjustable track bars require removal for length changes because there is no way to grip and rotate the bar body with a standard wrench.

Should I also order the rear track bar (COR-4509110)?
If the rear of your JL has also been lifted, yes — the rear axle will have the same off-center issue as the front axle, and COR-4509110 addresses the rear. If only the front of the JL is lifted, COR-4509110 is not required.

What about the Gladiator JT rear track bar?
COR-4509110 is confirmed for JL only — JT rear track bar fitment should be confirmed with OFAS before ordering. Text (469) 407-7538.

What is the warranty?
Clayton Off Road provides a lifetime warranty on this front track bar. Confirm full terms at claytonoffroad.com/pages/warranty-policy.

The Obsidian Take

This bar is for the JL Wrangler or Gladiator JT owner who has lifted the front of the truck and wants the front axle centered correctly. The dual FK heim joint design — both frame end and axle end — is the specification decision that separates this from most aftermarket adjustable track bars, which use a rubber bushing at one end. Both ends articulate, both ends are inspectable, and neither end introduces compliance that would allow the axle position to shift under load. The right-hand threaded hex body makes length adjustment a wrench-on-the-bar operation without removing the bar from the vehicle.

The 0"–6" front lift range covers the vast majority of JL and JT lifted builds — more range than the rear counterpart (COR-4509110 at 0"–4") because the front axle position shift per inch of lift is addressed by a wider adjustment window on this bar.

If both front and rear are lifted, both bars are needed. COR-4509100 addresses the front. COR-4509110 addresses the rear on the JL (JT rear confirmation required separately). Neither bar is complete without setting the correct length for the specific lift height — the hex body is how that adjustment happens in the vehicle.

It is not for the JK, TJ, LJ, or any Grand Cherokee or Cherokee platform. And it is not installed correctly without first setting the bar length for the actual front lift height.
