Fitment, Shipping & Product Support

Verified Fitment

This front track bar fits the 2007 through 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK — 2-Door and 4-Door Unlimited — in all trims. It is designed for JK builds with 0" to 6" of front lift. No welding required.

Year Range Make Model Configuration Front Lift Range Installation
2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door 0"–6" front lift 100% bolt-on
2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited 4-Door 0"–6" front lift 100% bolt-on

What this corrects: When the front of the JK is lifted, the front axle shifts laterally off-center — the factory track bar is a fixed length calibrated for stock ride height. This adjustable front track bar replaces the factory bar and is set to the correct length for the lifted geometry, re-centering the front axle and restoring correct steering geometry.

If both front and rear of the JK are lifted: This bar corrects the front axle only. The rear axle requires COR-4508110 (JK adjustable rear track bar) or COR-4508200 (JK rear relocation bracket) for rear axle centering correction.

Component
COR-4508100 adjustable front track bar with heim joint
Right-hand threaded hex body
Hardware per Clayton specification

Not Included:

Item Notes
Rear axle track bar correction This bar corrects the front axle only. If both front and rear are lifted, also order COR-4508110 (JK rear adjustable track bar) or COR-4508200 (JK rear relocation bracket).
Professional installation labor Not included — bolt-on installation is intermediate level
Front alignment service Full front alignment is recommended after installation — not included

Critical Compatibility

Condition Interaction Action Required
Bar length must match front lift height The bar must be set to the correct length for your front lift height before installation. Installing at the wrong length leaves the front axle off-center — which shows up as uneven tire clearance, off-center steering, and handling that pulls to one side. Confirm front lift height and set bar to correct length before installation. Text (469) 407-7538.
6" maximum confirmed range Above 6" of front lift, confirm the bar's adjustment range is sufficient before ordering. Text (469) 407-7538 for lifts above 6".
Front and rear lift — both axles need correction If both the front and rear of the JK have been lifted, both the front axle (this bar) and the rear axle (COR-4508110 or COR-4508200) need track bar correction. Installing this bar only while leaving the rear axle factory track bar in place centers the front but leaves the rear off-center. Order COR-4508110 or COR-4508200 simultaneously if rear is also lifted.
Hex body in-vehicle adjustment Apply a wrench to any flat on the hex body to rotate and adjust bar length without removing the bar. Loosen mounting hardware, apply wrench to hex body, rotate to correct length, retorque.
Front alignment after installation Replacing and adjusting the front track bar changes the front axle's lateral position. A full front alignment is required after installation. Schedule front alignment immediately after installation — do not drive at highway speed before alignment is confirmed.
Heim joint inspection The heim joint articulates through the full front suspension travel arc. Inspect periodically for wear or looseness. Set bar length precisely — heim joints do not self-center under compression. Inspect on regular service schedule.

Installation Notes

Skill level: Intermediate. True bolt-on — no welding, drilling, or fabrication required.

Step 1 — Set bar length:

  1. Confirm front lift height.
  2. Set bar to the correct length for your front lift height by rotating the hex body. Text (469) 407-7538 with your front lift height for the correct length setting.

Step 2 — Installation:

  1. Remove the factory JK front track bar.
  2. Install COR-4508100 in the factory front track bar mounting positions — bolt-on, no modification required.
  3. Torque all mounting hardware at ride height — not at full droop or compression.

Step 3 — Verification:

  1. Verify front axle is centered laterally.
  2. Schedule front alignment immediately after installation.

Required tools:

Tool Required
Standard socket and wrench set Yes
Torque wrench Yes
Measuring tape (for axle centering verification) Recommended

Common Questions

Why does my lifted JK need an adjustable front track bar?
The factory JK front track bar holds the front axle in its lateral position relative to the chassis. The factory bar is a fixed length calibrated for stock ride height. After a front lift, the axle drops relative to the frame and the factory bar pulls the front axle laterally off-center. The result is uneven tire clearance left-to-right, a steering wheel that sits off-center at straight ahead, and handling that pulls slightly to one side. This adjustable bar replaces the factory bar and is set to the correct length for the lifted geometry, re-centering the front axle.

If I lift both the front and rear of my JK, do I need both track bars?
Yes — the front track bar corrects the front axle centering, and the rear track bar corrects the rear axle centering. These are two separate bars addressing two separate axles. If only the front is lifted, this bar alone is sufficient. If both front and rear are lifted, order COR-4508110 (JK rear adjustable track bar) or COR-4508200 (JK rear weld-on relocation bracket) alongside this bar.

What is the difference between this and the JL/JT front track bar (COR-4509100)?
Platform only — the JK and JL/JT front track bars address the same problem (front axle lateral centering after front lift) using the same hex body design. COR-4509100 specifies dual FK heim joints at both ends. This JK bar's heim joint brand is not confirmed in available source data. Both are bolt-on with the same 0"–6" lift range. Do not use a JL/JT bar on a JK, or vice versa — different mounting hardware and geometry.

How do I set the correct bar length?
Rotate the hex body until the bar reaches the correct length for your front lift height. Text (469) 407-7538 with your JK's front lift height and OFAS will confirm the correct setting before your order ships.

What is the warranty?

The Obsidian Take

This bar is for the JK owner who has lifted the front of the truck and wants the front axle centered correctly with a bolt-on replacement for the factory track bar. The adjustable hex body and heim joint provide geometry correction from stock height through 6" of front lift — the same lift range as the JK rear adjustable bar (COR-4508110) and the JL/JT front bar (COR-4509100).

The front and rear are separate problems requiring separate solutions. This bar handles the front axle. COR-4508110 or COR-4508200 handles the rear. A lifted JK with both axles off-center needs both solutions. A JK where only the front has been lifted needs only this bar.

It is not for the JL or JT — those platforms use COR-4509100. It is not for the TJ, LJ, or any Grand Cherokee or Cherokee platform. And it is not installed correctly without first setting the bar length for the specific front lift height — the hex body adjustment is the step that makes this bar work.
