The COR-5208100 is Clayton Off Road's complete drag link flip kit for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, designed for use with Clayton's 3.5" and 4.5" lift kits. At these lift heights, the factory drag link and track bar run at angles that cause bump steer, steering wander, and in severe cases, death wobble — because the drag link and tie rod are no longer parallel and the track bar is too low relative to the differential cover. This kit addresses both issues in a single purchase. The drag link flip converts the JK from a left-hand drive drag link configuration to a right-hand drive configuration: the passenger side upper knuckle is drilled to 7/8" and the CNC-machined steel knuckle insert is pressed in, providing the correct seat for the OEM-style RHD drag link end. The 1/4" track bar bracket bolts into the factory axle bracket location using three 3/8"-16 Grade 8 bolts and one 9/16" Grade 8 bolt with spacer, allowing temporary driving before final weld-out. The bracket raises the track bar mount for differential cover clearance and incorporates a relocated lower sway bar mount. Welding, drilling, and cutting are required for permanent installation. Tools required: welder, grinder, 1/2" electric drill with 7/8" bit, standard hand tools. An adjustable front track bar is strongly recommended to re-center the axle after installation. Installation & Fabrication Notes
- Drilling, cutting, and welding required. This is not a bolt-on kit. Professional fabrication capability or access to a certified welder is required for permanent installation.
- Drill the passenger side upper knuckle to 7/8" using a 1/2" electric drill — use a drill press or guide for a straight, on-axis bore. Press the CNC knuckle insert into the drilled bore.
- Install the 1/4" track bar bracket using three 3/8"-16 Grade 8 bolts and one 9/16" Grade 8 bolt with spacer into the factory axle bracket location — snug all bolts before driving to the welder.
- Drive to a certified welder and weld both sides of the track bar bracket to the front axle — full-penetration welds on all bracket-to-axle contact surfaces.
- Install the OEM-style RHD drag link with the metric locknut — torque to specification.
- After welding, coat all bare metal with weld-through primer and chassis paint.
- Install an adjustable front track bar to re-center the axle at the new track bar mount height.
- Front alignment (caster, toe) must be set after full installation.
- Verify sway bar end link length is appropriate for the relocated lower sway bar mount position.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
