The COR-2208100 is Clayton Off Road's bolt-on rear long arm frame bracket set for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Unlike weld-on long arm brackets, these are 100% bolt-on — no frame cutting or welding required. The brackets bolt to the JK rear frame using eight 1/2-13x1.5" 120M PSI case hardened hex bolts torqued to 110–120 ft-lbs, securing to interior brackets that have preinstalled PEM fasteners. The PEM fasteners capture and hold the bolts in position during installation — eliminating the frustration of trying to hold bolts inside the frame while torquing from outside. This interior bracket clamping method provides superior clamping force compared to designs that clamp the entire frame rail. Both upper and lower rear long arm mounting positions are included in this bracket set, enabling a true 4 long arm rear suspension configuration. Both mounting locations use a 9/16" bolt with a 2-5/8" inside diameter. Designed in 3D Solidworks for a precision fit to the JK rear frame. Ships at 26 lbs.

Installation & Fabrication Notes

• No cutting or welding required — 100% bolt-on installation to the JK rear frame.
• Secure brackets using eight 1/2-13x1.5" 120M PSI case hardened hex bolts to the interior brackets. Torque to 110–120 ft-lbs.
• Interior brackets have preinstalled PEM fasteners — these capture and hold the bolts in position during installation. Do not remove or modify the PEM fasteners before installation.
• Both upper and lower arm mounting positions use a 9/16" bolt with a 2-5/8" inside diameter — verify your long arm hardware matches these specs before installation.
• Full 4-wheel alignment required after installation — long arm geometry changes caster and pinion angle; use a shop familiar with long arm JK rear geometry.
• Verify driveshaft angle and length after installation — long arm systems change pinion angle and may require driveshaft modification depending on lift height.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

No direct wheel or tire fitment restriction for these frame brackets. Tire clearance is determined by your complete long arm system lift height and wheel offset — verify with your Clayton Off Road JK long arm kit documentation.

Engineering Question: Are you running a true 4 long arm rear configuration, or only lower long arms? These brackets include both upper and lower mounting positions — confirm your long arm control arm hardware uses a 9/16" bolt and 2-5/8" inside diameter at the frame mount before ordering. Also confirm your JK model year is 2007–2018 — these brackets are JK-specific and will not fit the JL platform.
