Does NOT Fit

Exclusion Reason Correct SKU
Jeep Wrangler JK (2007–2018) Different front sway bar geometry — JK requires a different end link design COR-5109110
Jeep Wrangler JL — rear sway bar position This SKU covers the front position only COR-5109110
Jeep Gladiator JT — rear sway bar position JT rear sway bar end links are a separate SKU COR-5110110
Jeep Wrangler TJ / LJ (1997–2006) Different sway bar end link geometry Not applicable
Trucks at stock ride height Factory fixed-length end links are correct for stock geometry — adjustable end links provide no functional benefit at stock height unless factory links are damaged
Buyers who have not confirmed lift height and 2024+ trim Length must be set for your specific lift height; 2024+ buyers must identify Rubicon vs. Non-Rubicon to select the correct sway bar bushing insert Text (469) 407-7538

Critical Compatibility

Condition Interaction Action Required
2024+ model year bushing insert selection The 2024+ JL and JT changed the factory front sway bar mounting point diameter. Two inserts are included — .372 for 2024+ Non-Rubicon; .475 for 2024+ Rubicon. Only one insert is used per installation. Pre-2024 models use neither. If 2024+, confirm Rubicon vs. Non-Rubicon before installation and install the correct insert only.
FK heim joint at passenger-side bracket The JL/JT passenger-side sway bar bracket geometry requires the FK heim joint with aluminum spacers — do not substitute a standard ball-socket tie rod end at this location. The heim joint provides the angular articulation range the passenger bracket geometry demands. Install FK heim joint with included aluminum spacers at the passenger bracket per Clayton's instructions.
Length must match lift height The 13.00" connecting rod adjusts via thread engagement. Incorrect length puts the sway bar in preload or allows it to go slack at one extreme of travel — both degrade on-road handling and off-road droop. Set both end links to the correct length for your installed lift height before installation. Text (469) 407-7538 to confirm setting.
Minimum thread engagement Do not thread the tie rod end to fewer than 3 full threads from the end of the stud. Check at the maximum length setting used. Verify minimum engagement at both ends of each connecting rod before final torque.
Jam nut torque Untorqued jam nuts allow the end link to change length under load — this is the most common installation error on adjustable end links. Torque jam nuts to Clayton's specification after setting length and before mounting.
Front position only — rear geometry uncorrected Installing front-only adjustable end links while leaving the rear at stock length produces mismatched front-to-rear sway bar geometry at lift height. Order COR-5109110 for JL rear and COR-5110110 for JT rear to correct both positions simultaneously.

Installation Notes

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate. Bolt-in — no welding, drilling, or fabrication required. Installation instructions available from Clayton Off Road (5109100_Instructions.PDF and SWAY_BAR_QUICK_GUIDE.pdf).

Pre-installation — 2024+ buyers only:
Identify your trim — Rubicon or Non-Rubicon. Select the correct bushing insert: .372 for Non-Rubicon (AMP-HDW-H502B), .475 for Rubicon (AMP-HDW-H502C). Pre-2024 owners set both inserts aside.

Step 1 — Set length:

  1. Confirm installed lift height and consult Clayton's length specification for COR-5109100 at your height.
  2. Thread each tie rod end onto the connecting rod to the correct engagement depth — both end links in the pair must match.
  3. Torque each jam nut to Clayton's specification against the tie rod end before mounting.
  4. Verify minimum thread engagement (≥3 full threads each end).

Step 2 — Installation:

  1. Remove factory front sway bar end links.
  2. Install FK heim joint with aluminum spacers at the passenger-side sway bar bracket per Clayton's instructions.
  3. Install the remaining end link at the driver-side bracket.
  4. Torque all mounting hardware at ride height — not at full droop or compression.

Step 3 — Verification:

  1. Cycle suspension through full travel range — confirm sway bar moves freely without binding at any point.
  2. Verify jam nuts remain tight after the first full suspension cycle.

Common Questions

What makes this different from the JK sway bar end links (COR-5109110)?
Platform geometry and component design. The JL/JT front sway bar uses a passenger-side bracket geometry that requires an FK heim joint with aluminum spacers — the JK uses a standard tie rod end at both ends. Do not attempt to use COR-5109110 on a JL or JT front sway bar position. The heim joint is what makes this product JL/JT-specific.

I have a 2024 Wrangler JL. Which bushing insert do I use?
Two inserts are included to cover the 2024+ mounting point change. Non-Rubicon: use the .372 insert (AMP-HDW-H502B). Rubicon: use the .475 insert (AMP-HDW-H502C). Pre-2024 models do not require either insert. Text (469) 407-7538 if unsure which applies.

Does this cover the JL or JT rear sway bar?
No — front position only. JL rear uses COR-5109110. JT rear uses COR-5110110.

Does this fit the JK Wrangler?
No — the JK uses a different front sway bar geometry and does not require the FK heim joint setup this kit includes. Order COR-5109110 for the JK.

How do I know what length to set these to?
Length is specific to your installed lift height. Clayton validates this SKU for 1.5", 2.5", and 3.5" lift kits. Text (469) 407-7538 with your JL or JT lift height and OFAS will confirm the correct setting before your order ships.

What is the warranty?
Clayton Off Road products are backed by a lifetime warranty. Confirm terms at claytonoffroad.com/pages/warranty-policy.

The Obsidian Take

These end links are for the lifted JL Wrangler or Gladiator JT owner who wants the front sway bar operating in correct geometry at lift height — neutral at ride height, free through the full travel arc, not binding on the trail or degrading on-road handling. The FK heim joint and aluminum spacer setup at the passenger-side bracket is what separates this product from generic adjustable end links: the JL/JT front sway bar bracket geometry requires a heim joint at the passenger side, not a standard ball-socket end, for correct angular range through the full sweep. That is the design decision Clayton made that makes COR-5109100 the correct part and COR-5109110 the wrong one for this application.

The 2024+ bushing inserts are a detail that matters more than it looks. Two are included; exactly one applies to your build. Using the wrong insert or skipping it entirely on a 2024+ model produces an improperly seated sway bar bracket connection. Pre-2024 owners ignore them entirely.

It is not for the JK — that is COR-5109110. It covers the front position only — JT rear needs COR-5110110 and JL rear has its own separate SKU. And it is not installed correctly until the jam nuts are torqued at the set length and the FK heim joint is properly seated at the passenger bracket. Those two steps cannot be skipped.

At $139 for a pair covering the front position, this is the starting point of a complete JL/JT sway bar geometry correction. The rear position is the second step.
