Description
Is This for You?
- You're already running a long arm front suspension system on your 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and want to convert to a 3-link front end design. This bracket is specifically designed for JK owners who are upgrading from a standard long arm 4-link front to a 3-link configuration — it is not a first-time long arm conversion bracket.
- You have a minimum of 2.5" of suspension lift and understand that exhaust modification is required on all JK models. The single long upper arm of a 3-link system requires 2.5" of lift minimum for clearance, and the exhaust routing on every JK will need to be modified to accommodate the bracket and arm geometry.
- You're pairing this bracket with Clayton Off Road's 3-piece cross member. This bracket is designed to work with Clayton's 3-piece cross member as part of the complete 3-link front conversion system.
The Result
- 1/4" steel weld-on 3-link frame bracket — designed to weld onto the JK frame at the front lower control arm position to accept the 3-link front suspension geometry; same 1/4" wall thickness as Clayton's other frame bracket hardware.
- Enables 3-link front end conversion on an existing JK long arm platform — a 3-link front uses a single long upper arm (panhard-style) instead of two upper control arms, which changes the front suspension kinematics and can improve articulation and steering geometry on extreme builds.
- Compatible with Clayton Off Road's 3-piece cross member — designed as part of Clayton's complete JK 3-link front system; pair with the 3-piece cross member for the complete conversion.
The COR-2208310 is Clayton Off Road's 3-link front frame bracket for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. This bracket is intended for JK owners who are already running a long arm front suspension system and want to convert to a 3-link front end configuration. A 3-link front suspension uses a single long upper arm (replacing the two upper control arms of a standard 4-link system) combined with a track bar or panhard bar for lateral axle location. This changes the front suspension kinematics and is a common upgrade on extreme off-road JK builds. Two hard requirements apply to all JK models: exhaust modification is necessary on every JK to accommodate the bracket and arm geometry, and a minimum of 2.5" of suspension lift is required for the single long upper arm to clear properly through suspension travel. This bracket welds onto the JK frame and is designed to be used with Clayton Off Road's 3-piece cross member. Ships at 8 lbs.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
- This bracket is designed for JK owners already running a long arm front suspension system who are converting to a 3-link front end — not a first-time long arm installation bracket.
- Exhaust modification is required on all JK models — no exceptions. Plan for exhaust rerouting or modification before beginning installation.
- Minimum 2.5" of suspension lift is required for the single long upper arm to clear properly through the full suspension travel range. Do not install on a JK with less than 2.5" of lift.
- Weld bracket onto the JK frame per Clayton Off Road's installation instructions for the 3-link front system — ensure proper positioning before tacking, then fully weld.
- Pair with Clayton Off Road's 3-piece cross member for the complete 3-link front conversion.
- Full 4-wheel alignment required after installation — 3-link front geometry changes caster and axle positioning; use a shop familiar with 3-link JK front suspension geometry.

Wheel & Tire Fitment
No direct wheel or tire fitment restriction for this frame bracket. Tire clearance is determined by your lift height and wheel offset — minimum 2.5" of lift is required for upper arm clearance regardless of tire size.
Engineering Question: Are you currently running a long arm front suspension system on your JK, and do you have at least 2.5" of suspension lift? This bracket is designed for the long arm to 3-link conversion — not a first-time long arm install. Also confirm you have the capability to modify the exhaust on your JK before ordering — exhaust modification is required on all models without exception.
