Verified Fitment

This system fits the 2019 and newer Ram 1500 in Rebel and Off-Road Package trims with a coil-spring front suspension, on trucks running without a heavy constant bed or front load. It is the standard-load Rebel Performance 2.5 system — tuned for the Rebel's unique front suspension geometry without the heavier spring rate of the HD variant. Trucks carrying a constant approximately 500 lb load (roof rack system, contractor shell, or equivalent permanent weight) should use CS-RAM15PERF25-RBL-19-HD instead.

EcoDiesel note: Carli's published lift figures are based on Hemi-equipped trucks. EcoDiesel-equipped Rebel and Off-Road 1500s will see approximately ½" less front lift than Hemi trucks due to the diesel engine's additional front weight.

Multi-Function Tailgate and RamBox note: Trucks with standard load but equipped with MFT or RamBox (not both, and without significant additional load) are typically within range for the standard Rebel coils. Trucks with both MFT and RamBox, or with MFT/RamBox plus additional constant load, should use CS-RAM15PERF25-RBL-19-HD. Confirm your configuration with OFAS before ordering.

Component Specifications

Difference from CS-RAM15PERF25-RBL-19-HD: The sole hardware difference between this system and the HD version is the rear coil spring. This system uses CS-RAM15MRC-RBL-19-R (standard Rebel progressive-rate rear coils). The HD system uses CS-RAM15MRC-RBL-19-R-HD (heavier HD rear coils tuned for ~500 lb constant load). All other components are identical.

Installation Notes

Skill level: Advanced. This is a complete suspension system replacement — coilovers, UCAs, rear coils, rear piggyback shocks, extended sway bar end links, and brake lines. A qualified suspension shop with 2019+ Ram 1500 experience is required.

Post-install alignment: Full front-end alignment is mandatory after installation. Do not drive at highway speed until alignment is completed. Budget for alignment when planning total project cost.

Driveline geometry: At approximately 2" to 2.5" of front lift with new UCAs and performance coils, confirm caster, camber, toe, and U-joint operating angles with your alignment shop after installation.

Critical installation warning — rear shocks: The King 2.5" rear piggyback shocks are longer than the factory rear coil spring perch allows. Installing rear shocks without the Carli rear coil springs will cause the factory rear springs to lose seating and fall out of the truck. The complete system must be installed together. No partial installation.

Required tools (professional shop):

Torque specifications: Follow Carli's published torque values from the installation instructions. Do not substitute generic torque specs on critical suspension components.

Common Questions

What is the difference between this and the HD system (CS-RAM15PERF25-RBL-19-HD)?
One component: the rear coil spring. This system uses standard progressive-rate Rebel rear coils tuned for the Rebel's stock ride height and unloaded or lightly loaded weight. The HD system uses heavier rear coils engineered for a constant approximately 500 lb load — a roof rack and tent, contractor shell, camper, or similar permanent weight. If your truck runs clean or with occasional light cargo, this is the correct system. If you carry significant permanent weight, the HD system is correct. Everything else — King 2.5" front coilovers, Uniball UCAs, rear piggyback shocks, sway bar end links, brake line kit — is identical between the two.

My Rebel has RamBox. Which system do I need?
RamBox alone, without Multi-Function Tailgate and without additional constant bed or front load, is typically within range for the standard Rebel coils in this system. If your truck has both RamBox and Multi-Function Tailgate, or RamBox plus a constant load approaching 500 lb, the HD system (CS-RAM15PERF25-RBL-19-HD) is the correct choice. Does this fit a standard Ram 1500 (non-Rebel)?
No. The Rebel and Off-Road Package use a different front suspension geometry than the standard 1500. Rebel-specific coils and UCAs are engineered for that geometry. Standard 1500 owners need CS-RAM15PERF25-19.

Is a front-end alignment required?
Yes, without exception. After replacing UCAs, coilovers, and spring rates, a full alignment is mandatory before highway driving. Skipping alignment causes accelerated and uneven tire wear and affects handling.

What tire size does this support?
Carli's own build uses 35" x 12.5" tires on 18" x 9" wheels at 4.5" backspace with minimal trimming. Cold tire pressure of 35 psi front and 30 psi rear is recommended when unloaded. Confirm final wheel and tire specs with your installer.

Can I install only the front or rear components separately?
No. The King 2.5" rear piggyback shocks are significantly longer than factory rear coil springs allow — installing the rear shocks without the Carli rear coil springs will cause factory springs to lose seating and fall out of the truck. The complete system must be installed together.
