Does NOT fit:

  • Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2019+ (T1 platform) β€” the T1's 6.6-foot box measures closer to 78.9" interior; verify before ordering and consider the 79x48 platform
  • GMC Sierra 1500 2019+ (T1 platform) β€” same T1 fitment note as Silverado
  • Ford F-250 / F-350 Super Duty β€” the Super Duty short bed is 6.75-foot (~78.8" interior); order 10-7948-CLB
  • Ford F-150 2015+ β€” aluminum bed; requires BSA-HALUMKT alongside this SKU (see notes)
  • Nissan Titan with 5.5-foot Crew Cab bed β€” that is the 10-6348-CLS SKU
  • Nissan Titan with 8-foot Single Cab bed β€” order 10-9548-CLB
  • Toyota Tundra 2022+ (third generation) β€” the new-gen Tundra uses a different bed configuration; verify before ordering
  • Toyota Tundra CrewMax β€” CrewMax comes with the 5.5-foot bed only; this SKU is for Double Cab
  • Any mid-size truck β€” no mid-size offers a 6.5-foot bed in this interior width
  • Any truck with a spray-in or drop-in bed liner β€” liner removal required before installation

T1 Silverado/Sierra note: The 2019+ Silverado/Sierra 1500 T1 is listed by multiple sources as a 6.6-foot box, measuring approximately 78.9" of interior length β€” matching the 79x48 Super Duty platform more closely than this 75x48 SKU. If you have a 2019 or newer Silverado or Sierra 1500, text (469) 407-7538 to confirm the correct platform before ordering.

Tundra bed designation note: Toyota's 6.5-foot Tundra bed is sometimes referred to as the "6Β½-foot" or "6.5-foot" bed paired with the Double Cab configuration (2007–2021). The CrewMax Tundra uses a 5.5-foot bed. Confirm your cab style before ordering.

What Is and Is NOT Included

Bedslide 1000 Classic platform (75" x 48") β€” black Aluminum bed install kit (BSA-HALUMKT β€” required for F-150 2015+; sold separately)
Perimeter guardrail system No-drill factory mount kit (vehicle-specific β€” sold separately)
WeatherDeck composite deck surface BedBin storage accessories
Full-width 32" grab bar Tonneau cover or truck cap

(4) D-Ring tie-downs
Hard latch system
Standard mounting hardware

No-drill kit options by vehicle:

  • F-150 2017+: BSA-F150-2017 β€” uses factory bed bolts; T50 Torx bit required (not included); confirm bed bolts are accessible before ordering
  • Silverado / Sierra 2014–2018 (6.6-foot bed): BSA-GM7895 β€” confirmed by Bedslide.com companion product listing
  • Ram, Titan, Tundra, pre-2017 F-150: Standard bolt-in installation; no confirmed no-drill kit for this SKU

F-150 2015+ aluminum bed β€” mandatory companion item:
Ford transitioned the F-150 to aluminum bed construction for the 2015 model year. Contact between standard steel mounting hardware and aluminum bed rails creates galvanic corrosion over time. If your F-150 is a 2015 or newer model year, order BSA-HALUMKT alongside this SKU. This is a Bedslide-stated requirement, not a suggestion.

Critical Compatibility

This is the highest-volume full-size 6.5-foot bed SKU in the Bedslide lineup β€” and the one with the most generation-specific traps.

The 2019 Silverado/Sierra T1 is the most common ordering mistake on this SKU. Buyers with new-generation Silverado 1500s frequently land on this page because their truck nominally has a "6.5-foot" box. The T1 platform's actual interior bed length is approximately 78.9 inches β€” close enough to the 6.5-foot label to be confusing, but sizing more accurately with the 79x48 Super Duty platform. If you have a 2019 or newer Silverado or Sierra 1500, do not order without confirmation. Text (469) 407-7538.

F-150 aluminum bed β€” 2015 is the cutoff year. Every F-150 from 2015 onward has an aluminum bed. If your F-150 is a 2015 or newer model year, you need BSA-HALUMKT alongside this SKU. Ordering without it is an incomplete installation that risks corrosion damage to your truck bed.

Nissan Titan β€” King Cab only for 6.5-foot bed. The Titan's 6.5-foot bed is a King Cab configuration. Crew Cab Titans use the 5.5-foot bed. If you have a Titan Crew Cab, this is not your SKU. Also note the Titan was discontinued after 2024 β€” no new production.

Toyota Tundra β€” Double Cab only, 2007–2021. The 6.5-foot bed on the Tundra was available on Double Cab configurations during the second-generation production run. CrewMax Tundras use the 5.5-foot bed. Third-gen Tundra (2022+) has different bed geometry β€” verify before ordering.

Installation Notes

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate β€” manageable as a two-person installation.

Estimated time: 1 hour.

Shipping: LTL freight. Residential delivery included. OFAS contacts you to coordinate scheduling after order placement. Inspect for shipping damage before signing the delivery receipt β€” note any damage on the bill of lading.

Tools required: Basic socket set and wrench. For BSA-F150-2017 no-drill kit: T50 Torx bit and ratchet (not included). Confirm F-150 bed bolts are accessible and can be loosened before ordering the no-drill kit.

F-150 2015+ β€” aluminum bed protocol:
Before installation, confirm your F-150 model year. If 2015 or newer, order BSA-HALUMKT alongside this SKU. Failing to address the aluminum bed with the correct kit creates a galvanic corrosion path at mounting points β€” Bedslide explicitly states this requirement on the product page.

Bed liner removal: Bedslide does not recommend installation over spray-in or drop-in liners. Remove the liner before installation across all applications on this SKU.

Two-person installation: At 73 lb and 75 inches long, this platform is significantly easier to position and align with a second person.

Clearance check: Confirm at least 4.5 inches of vertical clearance above the bed floor if running a tonneau cover or truck cap.

Common Questions

My 2019 Silverado 1500 has a 6.5-foot box β€” does this fit?
The 2019+ T1 Silverado's "6.5-foot" box actually measures approximately 78.9" interior β€” which is closer to the 79x48 Super Duty platform than this 75x48 SKU. Don't order without confirming. Text (469) 407-7538 and we'll verify your exact bed before it ships.

My F-150 is a 2021 with the 6.5-foot bed β€” do I need anything extra?
Yes β€” two things. The 2021 F-150 has an aluminum bed, so order BSA-HALUMKT with this SKU to prevent galvanic corrosion. If you also want no-drill installation, order BSA-F150-2017, which uses your factory bed bolts.

Does the Super Duty F-250 or F-350 fit this SKU?
No. The Super Duty short bed is the 6.75-foot bed (~78.8" interior), which uses the 79x48 platform (SKU 10-7948-CLB). This 75x48 SKU is for F-150, Silverado/Sierra, Ram, Titan, and Tundra with a true 6.5-foot bed.

Does the slide extend past the tailgate?
No. The Classic operates at 75% (ΒΎ) extension β€” it extends far enough to reach all of your cargo from beside the tailgate without climbing in, but does not travel past the tailgate plane.

What's the difference between this SKU and the Contractor (15-7548-CGB)?
Capacity β€” 1,000 lb vs. 1,500 lb β€” and bearing construction. The Contractor handles heavier commercial loads and is built for regular use near or above the Classic's limit. If your bed sees consistent tool and equipment loads under 1,000 lb distributed evenly, the Classic is the right tier. If you're frequently loading near or above that threshold, step to the Contractor.

The Obsidian Take

The 10-7548-CLB is the highest-volume full-size short-bed cargo slide in the Classic lineup β€” and the most commonly ordered with incorrect fitment assumptions. This SKU covers a wide swath of legacy and current full-size trucks across five major brands, which is its strength and its primary sourcing risk.

Two fitment decisions determine whether this SKU is right or wrong for your truck: your platform generation (2018 or earlier Silverado/Sierra vs. 2019+ T1) and your bed manufacturer's material (F-150 steel vs. aluminum at 2015+). Get those right before ordering and this is a straightforward purchase.

On the Classic vs. Contractor decision: the majority of 6.5-foot bed owners are running their trucks as personal-use or light commercial vehicles. Recreational gear, contractor supply runs, overlanding loadouts, organized tool storage β€” the Classic handles all of it cleanly. If you're loading consistently heavy or running dense professional payloads that approach or exceed 1,000 lb, step up to the Contractor before you wish you had.

On black vs. silver: the black edition handles outdoor commercial exposure better aesthetically and matches the working truck aesthetic most 6.5-foot bed buyers are running. If you want a cleaner look that shows the product's design more clearly, silver is the alternative β€” same specs, different surface treatment.

This SKU is for: 1999–2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 owners with the 6.5-foot box, F-150 owners with the 6.5-foot bed (with BSA-HALUMKT if 2015+), Ram owners with a 6.5-foot bed, Titan King Cab owners (2004–2021), and Tundra Double Cab owners (2007–2021) who need a 1,000 lb black cargo platform shipped LTL.

This SKU is NOT for: 2019+ Silverado/Sierra T1 owners (verify the T1 bed interior length first), F-250/F-350 Super Duty owners (order 10-7948-CLB), Tundra CrewMax owners (5.5-foot bed β€” wrong SKU), Titan Crew Cab owners (5.5-foot bed β€” wrong SKU), 2022+ Tundra owners (verify before ordering), or anyone expecting full-extension travel past the tailgate.
